Minecraft’s U.S. overview lists Bedrock Realms at $3.99 USD per month, Bedrock Realms Plus at $7.99 USD per month, and Java Realms at $7.99 USD per month. These are recurring subscription prices. Prices, taxes, and billing can vary by country or store, so check the amount displayed in your game or local storefront before subscribing.
Realms plans and monthly prices
| Plan | Listed monthly price | Simultaneous players | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bedrock Realms | $3.99 USD per month | Owner plus 2 players | One Bedrock Realm; no Marketplace Pass catalog access |
| Bedrock Realms Plus | $7.99 USD per month | Owner plus 10 players | One Bedrock Realm and access to the rotating Marketplace Pass catalog |
| Java Realms | $7.99 USD per month | Owner plus 10 players | One Java Realm; no Marketplace Pass catalog access |
Prices and player limits are listed on Minecraft’s U.S. Realms overview. Minecraft says each subscription provides one Realm. The plans allow up to 10,000 invited friends, but only the listed number can play at once; invited friends do not need their own Realms subscription.
Which plan fits your group?
Choose by Minecraft edition
Bedrock Realms and Realms Plus are for Bedrock Edition; Java Realms is for Java Edition. Players need to use the same edition to join the same Realm. Bedrock supports cross-play across supported Bedrock devices, while Java cross-play is listed for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Java and Bedrock players cannot share one Realm.
Choose by concurrent player count
The $3.99 Bedrock tier fits a group of up to three playing at the same time: the owner and two others. The $7.99 Realms Plus and Java plans fit up to 11 simultaneously: the owner and ten others. The invitation limit is much higher than these active-player caps.
