In the U.S. completed-sale examples reviewed, many working Xbox 360 systems with a controller and basic cables sold for roughly $50–$100. Some 250GB Slim and E systems had recent examples around $65–$130. These are individual transactions, not a guaranteed price or a representative market average. Your console’s model, storage, condition and included accessories matter.

Recent Xbox 360 sale examples by model

The figures below are dated completed-sale examples indexed on PriceCharting model pages. They are useful comparisons, not a formal appraisal; listings differ in condition and what they include.

Console Recent completed-sale examples What to note
Original 20GB or 60GB Pro $52.42 for a 20GB Pro console on June 8, 2026; $63.00 for a 60GB bundle on June 11; and $60.00 for a 60GB Pro bundle on June 16, 2026. PriceCharting model page Bundle and condition descriptions vary, as do sale outcomes.

PriceCharting model page Even examples for the same capacity differ substantially; compare the sale description as well as the model.
Xbox 360 E 250GB $104.99 on May 3, 2026; $119.99 on April 26; $101.25 on April 13; and $78.09 on March 3. PriceCharting model page Sale titles differ in controllers, games and stated testing.
Lower-capacity Slim 4GB or E 4GB Slim 4GB examples include $60.00 for a console with controller and cables and $78.00 for a bundle listing 26 games; both are from 2025. What changes the value of your console?

  • Model and storage: Identify whether it is the original Xbox 360, Slim or E, and record the storage capacity. A 250GB model is not interchangeable with a 4GB or 20GB comparison.
  • Working condition: A tested system is a different comparison from an untested or faulty console. Report issues such as failure to read discs, controller problems, damaged ports or overheating rather than pricing it like a tested working unit.
  • What is included: Note the power supply, video cable, controller or controllers, hard drive, Kinect, games and original box. Sale examples differ on these items, so avoid assuming a bundle’s price applies to a bare console.
  • Market and selling costs: The examples here are U.S.-oriented. Shipping, marketplace costs and local demand can affect what you net; the cited examples do not calculate those amounts.

How to estimate a fair asking price

  1. Read the console’s label or model information and identify its family and storage capacity.
  2. Test the console and accessories you plan to include. Describe any fault or untested status plainly.
  3. Make an exact inventory of the included items, especially the power supply, video cable, controller and storage.
  4. Compare several recent completed sales for the same model and capacity, with similar condition and bundle contents. Do not treat an active asking price as proof of what a buyer paid.
  5. Choose an asking price based on those close matches and your negotiation approach, then account for shipping and marketplace costs separately.

For example, an eBay listing for a Model 1439 without a hard drive showed a $49.99 listing price with a Best Offer accepted, but the accepted amount was not disclosed. That listing cannot establish the price the buyer actually paid. eBay listing
