But those are not universal checkout prices: official venue pages publish higher starting rates in some markets, and the total depends on location, game, date and time. Check your venue’s official booking page for the price you’ll actually pay.
Sandbox VR’s general per-person prices
Sandbox VR’s official FAQ lists $39 per person for each experience Monday through Thursday and $49 Friday through Sunday. It also says weekday prices may change during peak periods. These are company-published general prices, not a guaranteed quote for every venue or booking. Sandbox VR FAQ
What official venue pages list
Location pages show why it is worth checking the specific venue: published prices can be higher than the FAQ’s general figures. The examples below are official price listings accessed October 8, 2026, not a promise that every game or timeslot costs the same.
| Location | Published price examples |
|---|---|
| San Jose | Weekday tickets from $55; weekend tickets from $65; matinee tickets from $55. Sandbox VR San Jose |
| Washington, DC | Weekday tickets from $55; weekend tickets from $65. Sandbox VR Washington, DC |
| Gulf Coast | Many listed experiences cost $55–$60 per guest; Age of Dinosaurs is listed from $39. Sandbox VR Gulf Coast booking page |
| Vaughan | Most listed experiences cost $60–$69 per guest; Age of Dinosaurs starts at $39. Sandbox VR Vaughan booking page |

How to find your exact price
- Open Sandbox VR’s official locations page and choose the venue you plan to visit.
- Select a date, time and experience in that venue’s booking flow.
- Review the displayed per-person price and checkout total before paying. If you are considering a walk-in, call the venue first; walk-ins are accepted only when availability permits.
Sandbox VR recommends reserving online to secure a time. The booking flow is the best way to confirm the current quote for your particular session. Sandbox VR FAQ
What the ticket includes, and booking options
The FAQ says videos showing your group during gameplay are included. If you want to play two games back-to-back, contact the store: the second booking may be discounted, subject to availability, but the FAQ does not give a fixed discount or price. Sandbox VR FAQ

Cancellation terms
The FAQ’s stated policy depends on when you cancel: at least 72 hours before the booking, you can receive a full refund to the original payment method or a gift voucher; 24–72 hours before, a $39 fee applies and the remaining payment is issued as a voucher; less than 24 hours before, the booking is nonrefundable under that policy. Confirm the terms for your specific booking with the venue and at checkout. Sandbox VR FAQ

For frequent visitors, the FAQ lists memberships at $64.99 per month with a three-month commitment or $54.99 per month with a six-month commitment, plus applicable taxes. It describes unlimited weekday sessions at the member’s home location, subject to availability and plan conditions. That commitment and weekday/location restriction mean the monthly fee should not be treated as a simple per-visit ticket price. Check the current plan terms before signing up. Sandbox VR FAQ
