Platinum I does not have one MMR value across Rocket League: each competitive playlist has its own rating scale. In Tracker Network’s Ranked Duel data, Platinum I spans about 620–694 MMR across its four divisions. That is a third-party snapshot for 1v1, not an official cutoff and not a 2v2 or 3v3 estimate.
Platinum I MMR depends on the playlist
Rocket League ranks are calculated separately for competitive playlists, so a rating that corresponds to Platinum I in Solo Duel may represent a different rank in Doubles, Standard, or an extra mode. Always name the playlist when quoting a number.
For Ranked Duel, Tracker Network’s distribution page shows these approximate Platinum I division ranges, accessed October 8, 2026:

What is the Platinum I range in 2v2 or 3v3?
The Ranked Duel range above cannot answer that. The official support materials do not publish current numeric Platinum I cutoffs for every playlist, and the cited Tracker distribution is for 1v1. A specific current 2v2, 3v3, or extra-mode MMR threshold is therefore not established by the available sources.
For context, Psyonix’s Season 23 rank distribution, reported by Rocket League subreddit moderators on September 30, 2026, gives the share of players at each rank—not MMR thresholds. Platinum I accounted for 8.734% of 2v2 Doubles players, 9.935% of 3v3 Standard players, and 13.506% of 1v1 Solo Duel players in that report. Those percentages describe the season’s ranked population and cannot be converted into an MMR cutoff. Season 23 distribution report.

How divisions and MMR gains work
Officially, each rank has four divisions. Platinum I follows Gold III and precedes Platinum II; the full rank ladder runs from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Champion, Grand Champion, and Supersonic Legend. Epic Games’ ranking-system explanation.
Wins generally move players up divisions and ranks, while losing more often than winning can move them down. MMR gained or lost is not a fixed amount per match: Epic says matchmaking accounts for opponent ratings and party skill, so gains and losses can vary. How to use an MMR estimate
- Check the exact playlist: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or an extra mode.
- Check when the tracker data was captured; tracked-player distributions can change between seasons.
- Use MMR as an estimate of your current position, not a promise that a particular number will always equal Platinum I.
- Expect rating movement to depend on the match and matchmaking context, rather than a guaranteed fixed gain for every win.
