What does the anniversary say about GTA V’s scale?
In a 2023 investor communication, Take-Two said GTA V and GTA Online were celebrating their 10th anniversaries and reported approximately 190 million units sold in to date. That is a publisher-reported figure from 2023, not a current sales total. Take-Two Interactive, 2023.

Choose by the platform you own and whether you want the relevant generation’s features; there is no single best edition for every player. Rockstar’s store lists current GTAV and GTA Online editions and provides current PC requirements. It also notes that PC players can migrate Story Mode progress and GTA Online characters and progression from the legacy version to GTAV Enhanced. Check the Rockstar Store for the edition and current requirements before buying.
