A Fist of Darkness is described as a rare find in a random Second Sea chest, but no numeric chance for getting one from a chest is stated in the available wiki pages. The reported four-hour timing describes when a random chest can spawn the item—not the odds of any particular chest containing it.
What are the chest odds for a Fist of Darkness?
The Blox Fruits Wiki! chest page, marked updated September 24, 2026, says a Fist of Darkness can rarely appear in a random chest in the Second Sea and gives a four-hour interval for the spawn. It does not publish a per-chest percentage.
That means there is no supported number to use for the chance of finding one in a chest. The four-hour interval does not mean each chest has a four-hour cooldown, that all chests have equal odds, or that opening a chest after four hours guarantees the item.
What does the four-hour timing mean?
The chest page describes the Fist of Darkness as spawning in a random chest every four hours in a server. Read this as a reported server-level spawn interval, not as a probability or a promise that a specific chest will contain the item. The page does not explain the selection odds among chests or provide enough detail to calculate them.

Is the 2.5% chance the chest drop rate?
No. The separate Fist of Darkness item page, marked updated September 27, 2026, lists a 2.5% chance for obtaining the item by defeating a Sea Beast. That figure applies to the Sea Beast method only; it is not a chest-drop percentage.
Chest hunting or Sea Beast hunting?
The item page lists both chests and Sea Beasts as acquisition methods and recommends Sea Beast hunting. However, the sources give different kinds of information: a reported random-chest spawn interval and a Sea Beast chance. They do not provide comparable data for calculating which method gives better expected odds.

What should you do if you find one?
According to the item page, a Fist of Darkness cannot be stored or dropped, and it disappears if you die or leave the game. Its listed uses include summoning Darkbeard, inserting it in the Secret Laboratory as part of Core Brain/Cyborg progression, and obtaining the Slayer Skin. If you have one, plan around the risk of losing it before pursuing another activity.

Both cited pages are unofficial fan-wiki sources, not developer-published odds. The Fist of Darkness page says it adapts material from the Blox Fruits Wiki on Fandom and disclaims affiliation with Roblox or the developers. The pages support calling the chest find rare and reporting the four-hour interval, but they do not establish an official or numeric chest probability.
