Schedule I reached No. 1 on SteamDB’s global weekly revenue chart for March 25–April 1, 2025—but it was not No. 1 in the preceding week’s official Steam chart. Here’s what the rankings show, what the indie simulation is about, and what to know before playing.
What is Schedule I?
Schedule I is an Early Access simulation and strategy game from TVGS, an independent studio based in Sydney, Australia. It launched on Steam for Windows on March 24, 2025. The game puts players in the fictional city of Hyland Point, where they start as a small-time dealer and build a criminal operation.
That operation involves manufacturing and distributing drugs, developing recipes, recruiting dealers and employees, acquiring properties and businesses, and automating parts of the supply chain. Players also face law enforcement and cartel competitors. TVGS lists co-op multiplayer among the game’s features. TVGS press kit
Steam describes the content as simplified illegal-drug production, distribution and sale, alongside non-realistic violence involving melee and firearms. Steam store page

When did Schedule I top Steam’s chart?
The answer depends on the chart and the week. Valve’s official global weekly Top Sellers chart, which ranks products by revenue, placed Schedule I at No. 10 for March 18–25, 2025. In the following week, March 25–April 1, SteamDB’s global weekly top-sellers chart ranked it No. 1 by revenue. Steam’s March 18–25 chart · SteamDB’s March 25–April 1 chart
So the accurate version is that Schedule I topped SteamDB’s weekly global revenue ranking for March 25–April 1, 2025—not that it ranked first on Steam’s official chart in its launch week or that it is Steam’s current top seller. Steam’s live charts change over time, and a chart position is not a sales-unit total. The cited rankings do not establish how many copies the game sold or its total revenue.
Is the game still in Early Access?
Steam lists Schedule I as an Early Access game. The store currently gives Q4 2027 as the planned window for leaving Early Access, but that plan may change. Steam also displays the developer’s estimate that the game would be in Early Access for “approximately 2 years”; treat that as an estimate rather than a guaranteed release schedule. Steam store page
The developer says the current Early Access version already includes an open world, multiple drugs to manufacture and distribute, and more than 10 properties and businesses to purchase and fit out. As with other Early Access games, content and features may change during development.

Can you play Schedule I on Steam Deck?
SteamDB classifies the game as Playable on Steam Deck, not Verified. Its listed caveats include manual text entry, small text, and controller configuration or icon issues. That makes Deck play an option, but the classification does not promise a completely seamless handheld experience. SteamDB game metadata
