The Doom Slayer is portrayed as extraordinarily strong and athletic, but official sources do not give his strength without armor a number. His speed and movement are described while he is wearing the Praetor Suit and carrying equipment; no cited source measures his unarmored lifting capacity or force. The most accurate answer is that he is superhumanly capable in the fiction, but his exact strength without armor is unknown.
What official sources establish about his strength
Bethesda describes the Slayer moving quickly in his “bulk(ed)-up new Praetor Suit” while carrying weapons, equipment and ordnance. The article connects his quadriceps with his gait, leaping and strafing, and also points to cardiovascular fitness and agility as parts of his speed. This supports a depiction of remarkable athletic ability under load—not a measured lifting limit. Bethesda’s movement and strength article was published April 26, 2019.

A separate Bethesda article characterizes the Slayer in terms of both strength and staying power, while distinguishing muscular endurance from the maximum force produced in one effort. It offers no force measurement for him. Bethesda’s strength-versus-endurance article was published March 15, 2020.
Do the Slayer’s bare arms mean he is unarmored?
No. Bethesda’s description of the DOOM Eternal Praetor Armor points out that the updated design leaves the Slayer’s biceps exposed. That is a detail of sleeveless armor, not evidence of a scene in which he is entirely without armor or proof that the suit has no effect on his abilities. Does the Praetor Suit increase his strength?
The available official descriptions do not establish a strength multiplier. Xbox describes the Praetor Suit as advanced demon-killing technology, including a shoulder-mounted flamethrower and wrist-mounted DOOM Blade; that establishes it as equipment, not as a quantified boost to the Slayer’s raw strength. Xbox’s DOOM Eternal page also frames combat around health, armor and ammunition resources.
Bethesda’s gameplay guide says Praetor Suit Points unlock suit perks and Sentinel Crystals improve armor, health and ammunition reserves. Those are gameplay systems and do not specify how much stronger the Slayer is physically because of the suit. Bethesda’s Demon Slaying 101 guide describes those upgrades.

The cited official material provides no controlled comparison of the Slayer with and without the Praetor Suit, and no numerical unarmored lifting capacity, force output or strength limit. Any exact figure—or claim that the suit does or does not make him stronger—would go beyond what these sources establish. The evidence supports extraordinary physical capability as part of his portrayal, not a precise armor-free benchmark.
