Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League supports the full game solo or in online co-op for up to four players total. Co-op requires an internet connection; there is no local or split-screen co-op described in the official FAQ. The game also has an offline mode for solo play, with progress kept separate from your online profile.
Can you play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League solo?
Yes. The official game support FAQ confirms that the full game is playable solo. You do not need three human teammates to play through it.

You can play as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, or King Shark, and switch between squad characters outside active combat. The FAQ also says seasonal characters can be used to replay the full game after they are earned or unlocked; character availability can depend on the game’s current version.
How many players can join online co-op?
Online co-op supports up to four players total: you and up to three other players. This is an online mode, not a local multiplayer option. The official FAQ says co-op can only be played with an internet connection, so it does not establish support for couch co-op or split-screen.

The FAQ also states that online co-op supports cross-platform play and cross-progression. It does not enumerate platform pairings or explain account setup in that answer, so check current platform instructions for those specifics.
Can you play offline?
Yes. The game’s official offline-mode FAQ says offline mode lets players access the main campaign and previously released seasonal story mission content without an internet connection. The game must be updated to a version that includes offline mode. If you launch without an internet connection, it starts in offline mode automatically.

Offline play is separate from online co-op: you need an internet connection to play with other people online.

You can make a new offline profile or create one by copying an existing online profile. Copying gives the offline profile a starting point; it does not keep the two profiles synchronized. From then on, progress on the offline profile and the online profile is separate, and progress made in one does not carry over to the other.

Use your online profile when you want to join friends. If you want to play offline, plan to continue on the separate offline progression track.
