How the Wish System Works in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has separate cosmetic and Battle Imagine Wish systems. Here’s how their currencies and dated pity rules differ, and what Season 4 confirms.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has two separate Wish systems: Meowlux Wish for cosmetic outfits and mounts, and Battle Will Wish for Battle Imagine-related rewards. They use different currencies and have different rules. Rates and pity figures published by Prydwen in September 2025 are useful historical guidance, but the official Season 4 announcements say both systems were updated and do not confirm whether those figures still apply.

What are Meowlux Wish and Battle Will Wish?

“Wish” refers to two different gacha systems, not one shared banner pool:

  • Meowlux Wish offers cosmetics, including outfits and mounts.
  • Battle Will Wish is tied to Battle Imagines, combat-related companions or items.

The systems use distinct currencies, and a pull in one does not count toward the other system’s reported pity. The comparison below reflects the rules in Prydwen Institute’s guide last updated September 10, 2025; those numeric rules have not been verified against the current Season 4 interface.

System Rewards Currencies listed in Prydwen’s September 2025 guide Reported pity in that guide Current Season 4 information
Meowlux Wish Cosmetic outfits and mounts Rose Orbs and Meowlux Wish Coins Rare at 80 pulls; Advanced at 30 pulls Officially identified as the source for the limited outfit Magical Love and limited mount Tonight, Depart by Stars; current rates and pity are not stated in the announcement.
Battle Will Wish Battle Imagine-related rewards Bound Rose Orbs and Will Wish Coins Rare at 80 pulls; Advanced at 20 pulls The official Season 4 preview says Battle Imagine/Will Wish was updated, but does not publish current rates, pity, or currency rules.

How does Meowlux Wish work?

Meowlux Wish is the cosmetic banner system. The Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Team’s October 2, 2026 Season 4 calendar identifies the limited outfit Magical Love and limited mount Tonight, Depart by Stars as Meowlux Wish prizes. The announcement says: “Limited outfit "Magical Love" and limited mount "Tonight, Depart by Stars" are now available! Try your luck in the Meowlux Wish!”

Prydwen’s September 2025 guide lists Rose Orbs and Meowlux Wish Coins as pull currencies. It gives these base outcome rates: Rare 0.15%, Advanced 1.85%, Intermediate 12%, and Ordinary 86%; it reports pity at 80 pulls for a Rare and 30 for an Advanced. These are dated third-party figures, not confirmed Season 4 values.

How does Battle Will Wish work?

Battle Will Wish is the combat-related system for Battle Imagine rewards. Prydwen’s September 2025 guide says players access it by visiting Mason in Asterleeds, and lists Bound Rose Orbs and Will Wish Coins as its currencies. The guide lists an exchange of 150 Bound Rose Orbs for one Will Wish Coin. It also describes Will Wish Coins as obtainable through the Asteria Reputation Store and both the free Basic and paid Advanced Season Pass paths. Availability and exchange rules should be checked in the live game.

For Battle Will Wish, Prydwen’s September 2025 guide lists base outcomes of Rare 0.15%, Advanced 1.2%, Intermediate 12%, and Ordinary 86.65%, with reported pity at 80 pulls for a Rare and 20 for an Advanced. The October 2026 Season 4 preview does not confirm these figures as current.

What does pity mean, and how does Resonate affect it?

Pity is a pull threshold at which a specified rarity is guaranteed, according to the rules described by the guide. In Prydwen’s dated figures, Rare pity is 80 pulls for either system, while Advanced pity differs: 30 pulls for Meowlux Wish and 20 for Battle Will Wish. Because the official Season 4 preview says Wish systems were updated without specifying the resulting thresholds, use the live Wish details screen to see the rules that apply to the banner you are considering.

For Battle Will Wish, Prydwen also describes a Resonate feature that lets players select a Rare Battle Imagine as a target; the guide says the next Rare pull is guaranteed to be the selected choice. Treat this as the September 2025 guide’s description, rather than a confirmed current Season 4 rule.

Can you get Battle Imagines without Battle Will Wish?

Some lower-rarity Battle Imagine-related items have alternatives to the gacha. Prydwen’s September 2025 guide says Advanced and Intermediate items can have gameplay, exchange, or Trading Center acquisition routes, while Rare Battle Imagines are not directly farmable. It also cautions that obtaining a Battle Will does not by itself complete crafting the corresponding Battle Imagine; additional materials are still required. Check current in-game sources for which routes and materials are available now.

What changed in Season 4?

The Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Team’s October 1, 2026 Season 4 preview says existing systems were updated, including “Battle Imagine/ Will Wish” and “Fashion/Mount Wish.” It does not state new rates, pity thresholds, currency conversions, or whether the older rules remain in effect. That update notice confirms changes to the systems, but does not establish that any particular rate or threshold changed. For current banner end dates, costs, rates, and guarantees, open the relevant Wish banner in game and read its details before spending currency.
