How to add a friend by name or UID
- Open the Friends feature. Choose its add-friends function. The Friends feature also includes profiles, a friends list, friend details, and chat, as described in the official END Wiki Friends tutorial.
- Search for the player. Enter their player name or UID, then send a friend request. This search guidance comes from a GameWith guide updated March 5, 2026; menu wording and placement may vary in the live client or between platform localizations. GameWith guide
How to add someone from a shared facility
If you come across a facility another player shared, open the facility’s source details and use them to add its sharing player. The official END Wiki factory tutorial describes this shortcut. Protocol-deployed facilities are an exception: although they behave like shared facilities, they do not identify a source player to add.
How shared facilities work
Shared facilities appear once you reach an Exploration Level threshold. The official factory tutorial does not state the exact level or how long a facility remains available. Its stability decreases over time; repairing it resets stability and extends its presence. This is different from adding a friend: seeing or repairing a shared facility does not itself establish a friend connection.
How to share blueprints with friends
- Use Friend Chat: post a blueprint in chat so a friend can save it.
- Use a sharing code: create a code for the blueprint, then have the other player enter it to import the blueprint.
These blueprint-sharing options are documented in the official END Wiki factory tutorial. Blueprint sharing and shared facilities are related factory features, but they are not the same thing: one transfers a blueprint for a friend to save or import, while the other makes a facility available in the world.

Endfield friends and PlayStation Network friends are different
On PlayStation, the in-game Endfield Friends list and the PSN Friends list are separate. The official Gryphline FAQ distinguishes them this way:

| Endfield friends | Visible on all platforms | Visiting ships, chat, and viewing profiles |
| PSN friends | Visible only while logged in on PlayStation | Basic information viewing |
For cross-platform play and the fuller set of social interactions, add the person through Endfield’s in-game Friends feature rather than assuming a PSN connection will appear as an Endfield friendship.
