On Xbox 360 with the Classic controls, hold LT and press B as the ball arrives to attempt a first-time flair shot. FIFA 13’s manual labels this input “Flair shot (first time only)”; it does not promise a bicycle kick, so the exact acrobatic animation is not guaranteed.
Xbox 360: try the first-time flair-shot input
- Check that FIFA 13 is using the Classic control configuration. EA’s listed controls assume that scheme.
- As the ball reaches the player, hold LT and press B. The manual identifies these as the left trigger and shoot button and calls the move “Flair shot (first time only).”
This is a documented attempt at a first-time flair shot, not a dedicated bicycle-kick command. The manual does not give a bicycle-kick button recipe or guarantee which animation the game will choose.

Why the bicycle-kick animation may not happen
EA’s manual says a player’s skill level affects which moves they can perform: a less-skilled player may attempt a simpler version or fail. It does not identify a bicycle-kick-specific attribute requirement. The exact setup conditions for triggering a bicycle kick are not established here, so there is no verified timing or positioning formula to promise.
Controls on other platforms
The LT + B instruction applies to Classic Xbox 360 controls only. FIFA 13 was released on multiple platforms, and other platforms or custom layouts need their own verified control mapping; this Xbox input should not be assumed to transfer unchanged.
