What the full-pouch warning means
The warning means your item pouch has no usable space for a new pickup that cannot stack with something you already carry. AELGames’ guide reports 25 pouch slots in total, with nine occupied by essential items, but those counts are secondary-source figures rather than an official capacity specification: AELGames’ item-pouch guide.

Make room before you leave camp
- At a tent, open Items Menu > Transfer Items > Item Pouch.
- Move supplies you are unlikely to need on this outing back to the item box.
- Keep several slots open for materials you expect to gather. Choose carried supplies for your hunt, weapon, and play style; healing items, rations, and traps are examples only if you personally use them.
A lean pouch reduces the chance that a useful gathering pickup has nowhere to go, without requiring you to carry a universal “best” loadout. AELGames describes the tent transfer and loadout approach in its guide.

Use the current on-screen prompt to send the new pickup to the Seikret’s field pouch, or move an item you are carrying there to free space. The field pouch is described by secondary guides as extra storage carried by the Seikret; the sources here do not establish that it is unlimited or that every item can be handled identically. Button labels vary by platform and prompt. One guide gives X/A > Circle/B > X/A as an example sequence, but follow your displayed controls rather than treating that sequence as universal: AELGames and GameSkinny.

How Ver. 1.011 changed full-pouch pickups
In Capcom’s official Ver. 1.011 announcement, published May 28, 2025 and signed by director Yuya Tokuda, the company said: “A confirmation window will no longer appear after obtaining an item when your item pouch is full. The obtained item will automatically be sent to your item box.” This describes the announced Ver. 1.011 behavior; it should not be read as a new 2026 change or as confirmation that every later build and platform has identical prompts.
