Where to find and summon AXL

According to the unofficial Grounded 2 guide, AXL’s encounter is in Pine Hill, at Battlefield 1992 near the Mega Milk Molar. The guide identifies the offering as Poached Roach Roast, made with:
- 1 Roach Head
- 4 Roach Parts
- 3 Garden Snail Slime
- 1 EverChar Coal Chunk

What to prepare before the fight
Bring healing and more than one damage option. The Grounded 2 fan database recommends healing and multiple damage options, but the available guides do not establish one dependable gear set or damage threshold for every difficulty and stage of progression. Choose equipment you can use reliably rather than relying on a fixed build.
The fan guide reports that AXL has no elemental weaknesses and resists stabbing, fresh, explosive, and venom damage. Treat that as guide-reported matchup information, not an official numeric stat sheet; avoid making one of those damage types the core of your plan unless current game data confirms a change.
How to fight AXL
Read attacks before committing
AXL’s moves do not all call for the same defense. The fan database advises distinguishing parryable attack strings from unblockable pressure. Parry the attacks you can recognize, but do not assume blocking or parrying will stop every move. Wait for a clear recovery before attacking rather than trading hits through an active sequence.
Build stun and strike the rump
Make stun your main objective. The fan guide says that enough stun topples AXL and exposes its rump as a weak point. Use that topple window to attack the exposed area, then stop when AXL gets back up. Chasing extra hits after it recovers risks taking damage without the same opening.

Make space for the second-phase dash
The fan guide reports that AXL adds an unblockable dash in its second phase. Keep enough room to react, and be ready to evade rather than treating the dash as another parry opportunity. Continue to punish clear recovery windows, not the dash itself.

Obsidian’s update announcement confirms rewards including Tarantula Armor, a Tarantula Bow and Spear, and base decorations. The announcement does not provide boss health, damage, or resistance numbers, so there is no reliable numerical stat to use as a fight target.
