Keep your distance, bait Bo Sorcerer’s airborne attack, dodge the four energy waves sideways, then evade her dive and punish the landing with a charged attack. That gives you a repeatable opening without trying to trade quick hits with her fast sword-and-magic attacks.
Where to find Bo Sorcerer
Bo Sorcerer is in the Avian Marsh area, near Avian Dwelling. After crossing the marsh and opening the fallen-tree shortcuts back to the Avian Dwelling shrine, take the shortcut behind the shrine toward the boss. PowerPyx’s boss guide describes this route; Gamepressure’s Bo Sorceress guide also places her in Avian Marsh.
Use the airborne attack for a punish opening
- Start at range. Bo Sorcerer moves quickly and can make uncharged light attacks difficult to land safely.
- Watch for her airborne wave attack. When she sends four energy waves toward you, move laterally rather than backing straight away.
- Prepare for the dive. After the waves, she follows with a diving attack. Time a dodge for the dive rather than attacking during the approach.
- Charge a strike as she lands. AltChar reports that a charged hit to her back can stagger her. Gamepressure likewise recommends charged attacks and says strikes to her side or back can create a stun opportunity. This is a guide-reported approach, not a guaranteed loop: reset your distance if she does not give you the same opening.
Gamepressure also describes a closer-range approach: stay near enough to weave around water bubbles, dodge laterally, and use charged attacks when she leaves an opening. The ranged bait strategy is easier to read if you are struggling with her speed; the closer approach can suit you if you can reliably avoid the bubbles.
Read her other attacks instead of trading
Gamepressure lists aerial sword slashes, an exploding feather burst, a spinning charge, and water bubbles among her attacks. Give the feather burst room to resolve, dodge laterally around the charge, and avoid committing to a long attack while she is still moving.

The same guide says brighter gold on Bo Sorcerer’s legs signals a hard landing. Treat that as a warning to get clear, then look for an opening after the impact rather than trying to interrupt it.
If tornadoes, icicles, grabs, or projectile slashes appear later in your encounter, respond to the attack you see rather than relying on a fixed phase script. The tree in the arena can provide cover from tornadoes and icicles, according to Gamepressure. Guides disagree about whether this fight has a distinct second phase: Gamepressure describes two phases, while PowerPyx’s search-result summary calls it one phase. The extra attacks are therefore best treated as conditional possibilities, not a guaranteed phase transition.

Choose equipment for the opening you want

Can the White-Robed Elder help?
The White-Robed Elder may be available as a summon through the Bone Whistle if you completed the relevant Refugee Camp interaction and agreed to help him. The guides do not document every quest trigger consistently, so the summon is conditional; do not plan around it if the Bone Whistle does not call him.

A simple plan for the fight
- Keep enough space to recognize the four-wave airborne attack.
- Dodge the waves sideways, save your next dodge for the dive, and charge a strike as she lands.
- If the aerial opening is not working for you, try the closer approach around her bubbles and punish with charged attacks.
- Use the arena tree when tornadoes or icicles appear, and adjust to attacks actually present in your encounter.
