Choose preparation that fits your build
Use a setup suited to your attributes
Tigore’s Tips recommends matching gear to the attributes you have already leveled, rather than treating its example as a universal loadout. That guide’s example is a Bone-Cutting Sawblade +10 with a Big Pipe Wrench Handle, an Aegis Legion Arm, Patience, Strength, and Blue Guardianship amulets, plus an Arch Heavyweight frame. Use it as a reference point only if it fits your character; the guide does not establish that these items are required or superior for every build.

Consider a Specter for assistance
Tigore’s Tips says bringing a Specter can make the fight easier, while also noting that it does not remove the challenge. This is the guide author’s recommendation, not a result from a controlled comparison. It is an option if you want assistance rather than a requirement for victory.
Consider Acid as an elemental option
The data-oriented guide Liesofpdle lists Laxasia among bosses weak to Acid and says abrasives temporarily imbue a weapon with an element. Its information was extracted from game version 1.12.0.0, so confirm the current item descriptions and mechanics in your game before relying on version-sensitive details. The guide does not provide a damage comparison showing how much Acid improves this particular fight.
