How to handle its attacks
Wait for the claws to commit
Lingxuzi can pause between telegraphing a claw attack and landing it. Do not dodge at the first cue: watch the swing and evade as it commits. Dodging toward or through the strike can leave the Destined One beside or behind the wolf, away from many of its forward-facing attacks. [Gamepressure; Windows Central]
Watch for the lunge, bite, and howl
Be ready for a lunge followed by swipes, a delayed paw swing, and a short bite. If Lingxuzi freezes and howls, create distance rather than continuing a close-range combo; the howl sends out a repelling shockwave. [Gamepressure]

When to attack
Punish recovery animations
The paw-lick animation is a clear opportunity to get in damage or begin charging a heavy attack. You can also strike after Lingxuzi misses or finishes an attack sequence. Keep the punish short enough to preserve stamina for your next dodge. [Gamepressure; Windows Central]
Use Immobilize to extend an opening
Immobilize can hold Lingxuzi in place long enough to land additional hits when the spell is available. A charged heavy attack is another way to capitalize on a safe opening; neither requires a particular build. [Gamepressure; PowerPyx]

What to do when Lingxuzi retreats to the roof
After taking significant damage, Lingxuzi retreats to nearby rooftops. Use the lull to heal or prepare rather than trying to hit a boss you cannot reach. When it jumps down, watch for a landing shockwave or a rapid spin follow-up; let the move finish before closing in. Avoid activating Red Tides during the rooftop interval, when the transformation may be wasted while the boss is out of reach. [Gamepressure]
