Marcus Dryden and his partner Faleris are at the Tower of PIDF in the Desiccated Dunes. Guides place the tower around coordinates 556–561, 334–336, so use the tower name and region as your main navigation cues; the reported coordinates vary. The Palworld Wiki identifies Marcus as the faction leader associated with Faleris.

What to bring
Water-type Pals
Faleris is a Fire-type Pal, and guides recommend Water-type Pals to counter it. Treat this as a type-based strategy, not a requirement to bring one specific Pal: the available guides do not establish a tested ranking among individual Water Pals. PalMods, PalNerd, and Pal Stars all recommend Water damage.

How to handle Faleris’s attacks
- Keep moving. Avoid standing still while Faleris attacks; movement helps you stay clear of its incoming strikes.
- Watch for the dive. When Faleris telegraphs a dive, sprint perpendicular to its path rather than running along it.
- Attack during recovery. After Faleris lands and recovers, use the opening to deal damage with your Pal and ranged weapon. This timing advice is described in Pal Stars’ guide.
What level should you be?
There is no single level recommendation that applies to every version of this fight. Guides for the standard encounter give different recommendations: Pro Game Guides’ February 2, 2024 guide advises against attempting it below level 45; PalNerd, updated May 27, 2025, recommends around level 45 and says level 50 gives players a better chance; and Pal Stars describes a level 50 boss. These are guide recommendations, not a universal minimum.
Hard Mode is a separate case. AllThingsHow’s July 31, 2026 guide describes a level 78 Hard Mode rematch. Don’t use that figure as the standard-fight requirement—or treat standard-fight recommendations as a Hard Mode threshold.
