A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11For the Grey Labyrinth entrance light puzzle, use two Radiant Projectors to redirect the beam into the door’s glowing triangular receiver: aim the first beam left across the cavern, then use the second projector to send it toward the door. The receiver lights and the door opens when the beam reaches it. The Labyrinth has other doors, so this route applies to the documented entrance puzzle, not every door inside.
What you need before solving the entrance puzzle
You need two Radiant Projectors, in-game devices that redirect a beam of light. Monomi Park’s support article says Viktor’s fourth Comm Station call provides the blueprint. That call follows his third call and bursting either the Boom Gordo or the Flutter Gordo; after meeting those conditions, wait several in-game days for the next call. Monomi Park’s Grey Labyrinth unlock guide identifies the blueprint and progression requirements.

A secondary entrance walkthrough reports that crafting two projectors costs 20 Hunter Plorts, 20 Boom Plorts, 10 Silky Sand, 10 Lava Dust, and 1,000 Newbucks in total. Check the recipe at your in-game Fabricator in case a game update has changed it. Destructoid’s entrance walkthrough gives the reported combined materials.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHow to route the beam to the door
- Enter the cave and find the beam source and the locked door’s glowing triangular receiver.
- Place the first Radiant Projector in the beam’s path. Rotate it so the redirected beam travels left across the cavern.
- Place the second projector in the redirected beam’s path. Aim it toward the back of the cavern and the door’s receiver.
- Adjust the second projector until the beam hits the receiver. The receiver lights and the door opens.
The beam route and directions describe the entrance shown in the walkthrough; they are not universal coordinates for other rooms. The core mechanic is to use projectors as mirrors to route light into the door’s receiver. The Radiant Projector reference describes the device and its use.

What to do if the door stays shut
- Check that the beam is actually hitting the glowing triangular receiver, rather than the door beside it.
- Reposition or rotate the projector where the beam changes direction; the second projector must receive the first projector’s redirected beam.
- Make sure you are following the entrance route. Internal Grey Labyrinth doors may use different layouts or different puzzle mechanics.
Players sometimes refer to a “3 Plort Door Puzzle,” but the title alone does not establish that this is the door you mean. If you are stuck at an internal door, identify the room or share a screenshot to distinguish its puzzle from the entrance light puzzle.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you pick up the projectors afterward?
The Radiant Projector reference says projectors can be picked up and reused after a door is unlocked without closing that door. Monomi Park’s Patch 0.6.3 notes, dated April 3, 2025, separately say a shy hallway door and a bugged Grey Labyrinth grate will remain open once unlocked; that patch behavior is specific to those doors, not a guarantee for every door. Read the Patch 0.6.3 notes.
