Scorpion’s Fortnite boss fight is no longer available as a live encounter: the historical record says he was added on April 1, 2025, and removed on May 2, 2025. At the time, players found him at one of three possible arenas, rang a glowing gong to summon him, and won by staying mobile, dodging his attacks, and avoiding dangerous edges. A future return has not been checked.
Where Scorpion appeared and how to start the fight
During Chapter 6 Season 2, Scorpion could appear at one of three arenas: The Living Forest, The Dead Pool, or The Pit. Only one was active in a match; its map icon indicated the location. The Dead Pool was underground, while The Pit featured a narrow bridge with a significant fall hazard. The Living Forest was a forest landmark. Arena-specific difficulty was not established.
- Check the map for the marked Scorpion arena and travel there.
- Before activating the encounter, collect weapons and healing items; the fight starts when you summon the boss.
- Find the glowing gong in the arena and ring or attack it to summon Scorpion.

How to handle Scorpion’s attacks
The recorded abilities were Hell Port, Spear Throw, and Devouring Flame. The spear pulled its target toward Scorpion. Hell Port was a vanish-and-slam attack, while Devouring Flame marked an area before an explosion erupted beneath it.

- Spear Throw: Keep moving and watch for the throw. If it pulls you close, create distance again as soon as you can; do not let the pull leave you trapped near an arena edge.
- Hell Port: When Scorpion vanishes, avoid staying planted where he can reappear and slam. Move away from the danger area.
- Devouring Flame: Treat the marked ground as an imminent threat and leave it before the explosion.

Choose your position and weapon approach
GamesRadar+ recommends attacking from range, moving continually, and watching for charged spear or fire attacks. The community mechanics reference, however, records light ranged resistance and a melee weakness. Those points do not establish one universally best weapon choice: ranged attacks offer distance, while the reported vulnerability favors considering melee when you can approach safely.

Whichever weapons you carry, preserve room to move. At The Pit, a narrow bridge made knockback especially risky; GamesRadar+ also warns that arena hazards such as a spike pit or acid could turn a hit into an environmental elimination. Keep away from edges and hazardous ground rather than risking a fall to maintain damage output.
What the fight rewarded
GamesRadar+ reported that defeating Scorpion dropped the First Blood Medallion, which made the first shot from the weapon magazine explosive. This is a historical reward detail, not evidence that the item or boss encounter is currently available.

Season dates and current availability
Fortnite Wiki records Scorpion’s addition on April 1, 2025, and removal on May 2, 2025. Epic’s Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS! overview said Battle Pass progression ran until May 2, 2025, Eastern Time. That official season date aligns with the recorded end of Scorpion’s availability, but it does not establish whether the boss could return in a later season.
