You can’t become a Panther in Kaiju Paradise through a legitimate current method: Panther was removed in the V3.1 Revamp Update. Its old Crystal Caves infection route is obsolete. The Kaiju Paradise Official Wiki identifies Hebi as Panther’s replacement, but does not say Hebi uses the same unlock method.
Can you become a Panther in Kaiju Paradise now?
No. The Kaiju Paradise Official Wiki’s Panther entry lists Panther as a removed Raytraxian and says it was removed in the V3.1 Revamp Update. The entry says there are no legitimate current ways to obtain Panther.
What was Panther’s old infection method?
Before removal, players could become infected by touching one of the large white crystals in Crystal Caves during a Blackout, or by being infected by another Panther. That is historical information, not a current unlock route. If a guide still tells you to wait for a Blackout and touch a white crystal, it describes Panther’s former method.
What replaced Panther?
The wiki names Hebi as Panther’s replacement in the V3.1 Revamp Update. It does not establish that Hebi shares Panther’s old infection conditions, so check current in-game information for Hebi’s route.

Why old guides may disagree
Older instructions can remain online after a game update removes a character. Here, the key distinction is between Panther’s former route and its current availability: the wiki records the crystal and Panther-to-Panther infection methods as past mechanics, while describing Panther as removed. The cited page is a community-maintained source, and the current in-game state has not been independently verified; game updates may change availability.
