The Outfit required the Super Battle Pass and 12 Account Levels; the match transformation came from finding Superman’s Call crystal. These were separate features, and the original unlock goals were available only until the season ended.
How to unlock the Superman Outfit
- Own the Super Battle Pass. Epic Games made the Outfit unlock available to Battle Pass owners.
- Earn 12 Account Levels. Epic said XP from any Fortnite experience counted toward the requirement, so progress was not limited to Battle Royale.
- Claim the Outfit during Chapter 6, Season 3: Super. Epic’s July 10, 2025 announcement said the unlock would begin July 11 and that the Account Level goals had to be completed before the season ended. Its exact instruction was: “Starting July 11, owners of the Super Battle Pass can unlock the Superman Outfit by earning 12 Account Levels.” Read Epic’s announcement.
Epic also tied other Superman cosmetics—including the Daily Flight Glider, Super Cape Back Bling, Crystal Smasher Pickaxe, and Super Save Emote—to additional Account Level goals. The announcement does not confirm whether Epic has reissued the Outfit or those cosmetics since that season ended.

How to get Superman’s powers in a match
This was a temporary match mechanic, not a way to unlock the Outfit. Epic said Superman’s Call crystal could appear in Battle Royale and Zero Build matches. During the announced event, the first player to find the crystal gained the ability to fly, use heat vision against structures, and wield superhuman strength. If that player was defeated, they reverted to normal and returned to the battlefield.
Epic set the crystal’s announced arrival for July 11, 2025, at 9 AM ET. That timing describes the original event; the announcement does not establish that the crystal or transformation is currently available.
