For a practical Danjin build, pair a sword that supports her Resonance Skill damage with CRIT, Havoc DMG, and ATK-focused Echo stats. Her best Echo set is disputed by recent guides: choose according to whether she is your main DPS or a sub-DPS, and how much investment your account has. Because her attacks consume HP, plan for healing and avoid extending her field time when her health is unsafe.
What role does Danjin fill?
Danjin is a four-star Havoc Sword damage dealer. Her Resonance Skill and Heavy Attacks are important parts of her damage, while her HP-consuming kit makes survivability a real build consideration. Her Outro Skill can amplify incoming Havoc damage, so she can also support another Havoc damage dealer rather than always taking the main-DPS role. These are descriptions from third-party build guides, not official performance rankings. Pocket Tactics’ Danjin guide and Wutheringlab’s guide outline these roles and mechanics.

When playing her as a main DPS, use a healer and watch her health as you decide how long to keep her on field. As a sub-DPS, build around the Havoc teammate who will benefit from her Outro.
Which weapon should you use?
Blazing Brilliance is the leading option in both current weapon recommendations, but it is not a requirement. Its Resonance Skill synergy suits Danjin’s damage profile. Emerald of Genesis is a five-star alternative cited by both guides. Choose from what you own rather than delaying a functional build for a premium weapon.

Which Echo set and main Echo are best?
Recent guides do not agree on one best set. WuWa Build recommends Moonlit Clouds generally, reserving Midnight Veil for a highly invested build with a five-star weapon and nine or ten total CRIT substats. Pocket Tactics instead recommends Sun-sinking Eclipse for main-DPS Danjin and Moonlit Clouds for sub-DPS Danjin. These are different guide assumptions, not a settled universal ranking.

| Set or Echo | Guide recommendation and context |
|---|---|
| Moonlit Clouds | WuWa Build’s general recommendation; it describes an Energy Regen benefit and an ATK buff for the next character after Danjin uses her Outro. Pocket Tactics suggests it for sub-DPS Danjin. |
| Midnight Veil | WuWa Build’s conditional option only with a five-star weapon and endgame Echo investment (nine or ten total CRIT substats); otherwise that guide favors Moonlit Clouds. |
| Sun-sinking Eclipse | Pocket Tactics’ five-piece recommendation for main-DPS Danjin; this differs from WuWa Build’s general recommendation. |
| Impermanence Heron | WuWa Build’s example main Echo with Moonlit Clouds. |
| Crownless | Pocket Tactics’ recommended main Echo with its Sun-sinking Eclipse main-DPS setup. |
| Dreamless | Pocket Tactics mentions it as a possible sub-DPS option alongside Havoc Rover. |
Use the set and main Echo that fit your intended role and available pieces. WuWa Build’s conditional Midnight Veil judgment is that guide’s recommendation, not independently verified simulation evidence. Compare the guides’ full setups at Wutheringlab and Pocket Tactics.
What Echo stats should you target?
For the setup listed by WuWa Build, use a four-cost Echo with CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG, two three-cost Echoes with Havoc DMG, and two one-cost Echoes with ATK%. Its priority is Energy Regen until your rotation has enough, then CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%, ATK, Heavy DMG%, and Resonance Skill DMG%. Pocket Tactics likewise emphasizes CRIT, Havoc DMG, and ATK% main stats.

WuWa Build gives the following suggested Level 90 targets. They are that guide’s estimates, not official requirements or guaranteed breakpoints:
| Stat | WuWa Build suggested Level 90 target |
|---|---|
| HP | 16,500+ |
| DEF | 1,150+ |
| ATK | 2,000–2,200+ |
| CRIT Rate | 60–80%+ |
| CRIT DMG | 210–260%+ |
| Energy Regen | 100–110%+ |
| Havoc DMG Bonus | 40–70%+ |
For context, Pocket Tactics lists Danjin’s unbuffed Level 90 base stats without weapon or team buffs as 9,437 HP, 262 ATK, 1,148 DEF, 100 max Energy, 5% CRIT Rate, and 150% CRIT DMG. Those are base values, not target build totals. Pocket Tactics’ stat table and Wutheringlab’s build guide provide additional context.

Who should be on Danjin’s team?
There is no mandatory team in the cited guides. Choose a healer because Danjin’s kit consumes HP, then select offensive partners based on whether she is your main damage dealer or supporting another Havoc unit.
- Havoc-focused core: WuWa Build lists Danjin, Sanhua, and Verina.
- Alternative Havoc lineup: WuWa Build also lists Danjin, Camellya, and Shorekeeper.
- Healer-supported option: Pocket Tactics lists Danjin with Mortefi and Verina.
- Accessible Havoc pairing: Pocket Tactics lists Danjin with Havoc Rover and Baizhi.
Verina and Baizhi are healer options named by the guides. Treat these lineups as examples to adapt to your roster, not fixed requirements. The recommendations are detailed in Wutheringlab and Pocket Tactics.

Which skills and Resonance Chains should you prioritize?
WuWa Build’s upgrade order is:
- Forte Circuit
- Resonance Skill
- Resonance Liberation
- Basic Attack
- Intro Skill
That guide prioritizes Resonance Chain nodes S3, S2, and S6. It describes S3 as extending Serene Vigil and providing CRIT Rate while Crimson Erosion is active; S2 boosts relevant damage; and S6 adds damage below 30% HP while removing Chaoscleave’s HP cost under that condition. These are guide descriptions of the nodes, not a claim that a particular sequence is required for every account. See WuWa Build’s build page for its full recommendation.
How to put the build together
- Decide her role. Choose main DPS if she will take most of the field time; choose sub-DPS if you are building around another Havoc damage dealer who can benefit from her Outro.
- Equip your best suitable sword. Prefer Blazing Brilliance if available; otherwise use a suitable alternative such as Emerald of Genesis or an accessible four-star sword.
- Pick an Echo set based on role and investment. Consider Sun-sinking Eclipse for main DPS or Moonlit Clouds for sub-DPS under Pocket Tactics’ approach; WuWa Build recommends Moonlit Clouds generally and makes Midnight Veil conditional on high investment.
- Prioritize useful stats. Build CRIT, Havoc DMG, and ATK, with enough Energy Regen for the rotation you actually use.
- Add sustain and manage HP. Use a healer such as Verina or Baizhi if available, and adjust Danjin’s field time when her HP is low.
- Upgrade the core talents first. Follow the cited Forte Circuit-first order, then invest in the other skills as resources allow.
The cited pages are third-party editorial guides updated August 11, August 21, and September 20, 2026; their recommendations differ, and the opened sources did not include a current official patch page to resolve that difference.
