To buy the Fortnite Battle Pass, open Fortnite and go to Passes → Battle Pass → Get Battle Pass. Choose the pass or bundle offered, then confirm the purchase. Epic lists the Battle Pass at 800 V-Bucks, or as included with Fortnite Crew; the live season offer and local checkout details appear in-game.
Buy the Battle Pass in Fortnite
- Launch Fortnite and sign in to the account that should receive the pass.
- Open the Passes tab.
- Select Battle Pass, then choose Get Battle Pass.
- Pick the pass or bundle option shown and confirm. Button wording and menu placement can vary as Fortnite’s interface changes.

How much does it cost?
Epic Games Support lists the Battle Pass at 800 V-Bucks, or says it is included with a Fortnite Crew subscription. That figure is the V-Bucks cost, not a single cash price: local currency checkout can differ by country and platform. Check the offer shown in your game before confirming. Epic Games Support
A pass is for one season and advances through XP earned in Fortnite experiences. Its rewards can include outfits, V-Bucks, emotes, and other items, so review the current season’s rewards and remaining time before buying. Epic says items from expired passes may become available in the Fortnite Shop at least 18 months after expiry; that does not guarantee any particular item will return. Can you buy it with V-Bucks?
Yes. The standard Battle Pass offer is purchased with V-Bucks in Fortnite. V-Bucks are separate from the pass: obtaining a currency card or other V-Bucks product does not itself grant Battle Pass access.
Ways to get V-Bucks
- Buy V-Bucks through an available purchase channel for your platform and region.
- Redeem a V-Bucks card, following Epic’s instructions and checking that the card and account region are compatible.
- Use Fortnite Crew, or an eligible starter or quest pack.
- Earn V-Bucks by progressing through the Free Pass and/or Battle Pass, where available.
Epic describes V-Bucks cards as available from authorized retailers and online. Availability and redemption conditions vary; use Epic’s official instructions rather than assuming a particular seller or card will work for your account. Epic Games Support: How can I get V-Bucks?

If checkout is blocked
- Confirm the account. Make sure Fortnite is signed in to the account that should own the pass. Epic specifically advises checking the signed-in account before buying through the Epic Games Store.
- Check purchase permissions. Parental controls or child-account settings can prevent real-money purchases. Some child accounts have real-money purchases disabled until parental consent is provided.
- Check the platform’s controls. Epic’s parental-control PIN can require a PIN for real-money purchases made using Epic payment. It does not control console-platform purchases or purchases made with existing V-Bucks, so check the console’s own restrictions when relevant.
