To catch Itzaland’s listed bugs, equip the bug-catching ability, track each missing entry in the creature compendium, and search the best-supported habitats first: Giant Vine Forest for Clip Beetle and Tailor Beetle, Elderwood Shade for Floral Scarf Worm, and Spira for Clay Cocoon and Glazed Cicada. The full checklist also includes Hairband Slug, Dawn Wings, Dusk Wings, and Adventurer Bee. Exact locations for several entries are not confirmed, so use in-game tracking rather than treating this as a coordinate-complete route.
Which bugs count toward the Itzaland collection?
Use the compendium to check your own progress against this list. Dawn Wings and Dusk Wings are separate variants, as are Clay Cocoon and Glazed Cicada; collecting one does not establish that the other entry is complete.

Where to search for each Itzaland bug
The most specific area leads come from the official Pear-fect Guides material routes. Other entries have only broad habitat guidance, so follow their in-game tracking marker and treat the locations below as search leads rather than guaranteed spawn coordinates.
| Bug | Best-supported search area | What to look for |
|---|---|---|
| Clip Beetle | Giant Vine Forest (official area lead); also broad reports for Elderwood Forest, Spira, and Itzaland Canyon | Search grassy areas; the third-party guide describes them as flying around. |
| Tailor Beetle | Giant Vine Forest (official area lead) | Use tracking to narrow your search within the area. |
| Floral Scarf Worm | Elderwood Shade (official area lead) | It stays underground; catch it when it emerges from its burrow. |
| Clay Cocoon | Spira (official area lead) | A separate collectible outcome from Glazed Cicada; use the bug-catching ability for the cocoon. |
| Glazed Cicada | Spira (official area lead) | Check its own compendium entry rather than assuming a cocoon capture also counts as the cicada. |
| Hairband Slug | Broad guide locations: Elderwood Forest, Spira, and Itzaland Canyon | Look on the ground in grassy places and beside trees. |
| Dawn Wings | Exact area not established in the available guides | Track the entry in game; no verified capture window is established. |
| Dusk Wings | Exact area not established in the available guides | Track the entry in game; no verified capture window is established. |
| Adventurer Bee | No verified precise Itzaland spawn point | Track it in game; flower patches are a broad, third-party-guide-derived search cue. |
How to catch them efficiently
- Equip bug-catching. Put on the bug-catching ability outfit before you begin; the guide identifies this ability as the tool used to catch bugs.
- Track one missing entry at a time. Select the target in the collection or compendium tracking function and follow its highlighted search area. Tracking can narrow the search, but it does not provide a verified coordinate for every creature.
- Search the named habitat carefully. Check grass, ground cover, nearby trees, and flower patches where relevant. Start with the official subarea leads in the table instead of roaming all of Itzaland at random.
- Wait for the Floral Scarf Worm to surface. It cannot be caught while it remains underground, according to the guide; watch its burrow and act when it emerges.
- Check both Spira entries independently. Treat Clay Cocoon and Glazed Cicada as distinct targets and verify each one in the compendium after the interaction.
- Verify the catch. Confirm that the specific entry is recorded. If it is still missing, return to the target and catch it again rather than assuming that reaching a tracker search area completed the entry.
Getting to Itzaland
Itzaland lies west of Wishfield. The official region preview describes the route from Wishfield through Itzaland Canyon at the western edge of the Abandoned District, and names Elderwood Forest and Spira as launch areas. The preview also says players who have not finished Wishfield can use chapter selection in Sea of Stars to go directly to Itzaland, with a story recap from Momo.

What the location guides do—and do not—establish
The official area-level leads identify Giant Vine Forest for Clip Beetle and Tailor Beetle, Elderwood Shade for Floral Scarf Worm, and Spira for Clay Cocoon and Glazed Cicada. The broader bug guide adds likely habitats for Hairband Slug and Clip Beetle, plus behavior clues for the worm and cocoon. It does not establish exact coordinates for every target, confirmed capture windows for the wings, a precise Adventurer Bee spawn, or a verified respawn timer. A map index may help with general exploration, but it is not a verified all-bugs coordinate map.
These are useful search leads, not proof that every habitat or interaction is unchanged in every live build. The official update announcement confirms that the final Itzaland story chapter and Golden Court dungeon arrived on August 6, 2026 (UTC-7), but does not say whether bug habitats changed. See the official update announcement and verify uncertain entries in your current game.
