Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will include in-game radio and podcasts, but it has not published the button sequence for changing stations. The game is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so exact controls are not yet confirmed in the official information available as of October 9, 2026.
How do you change the radio station in GTA 6?
There is no verified control sequence to give yet. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page and music page confirm the radio feature and station previews, but do not explain how to select a station in the game.

Rockstar describes the selection as including radio and podcasts across genres from Classic Rock to Talk Radio. Its music page previews six stations, but does not establish that this is the complete final lineup:

Can you change the music in GTA 6?
Rockstar has confirmed that radio and podcasts are part of the game, but its reviewed official pages do not specify whether players can mute the radio, turn it off, adjust music separately, or listen outside vehicles. Those options—and any accessibility or controller-remapping settings—need confirmation in the released game.
Is the GTA VI album the in-game radio playlist?
No. Rockstar presents Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album separately from the in-game radio. The official page describes the album as containing 34 original tracks and highlights six debut singles; it does not identify those tracks as the complete station playlist.
