How to change the interface language
Steam
- Open Steam and go to your Library.
- Open the settings or properties for EA SPORTS FC 25 and find the game’s language control. Choose the language you want; allow Steam to apply the change and download any required content.
- Check the FC 25 Steam store listing’s language table to confirm that your chosen language supports interface text. The table distinguishes interface, full audio, and subtitles. How to change the commentary language
- Check whether your target language has full audio support for your platform. Steam’s language table separates full audio from interface text and subtitles; EA’s product page lists supported languages but does not mean every language includes commentary on every platform.
- Install any separate language content required for your platform (see the platform rules below).
- Open FC 25’s Audio settings and choose the commentary language if that option is available.
A community-reported route to the commentary control is main menu > Settings > Game Settings > Audio > 11-A-Side Audio. EA has not confirmed this as a universal path, and it may vary by platform or game version. It is a commentary setting, not a verified universal route for changing interface language.
When does FC 25 require a separate language download?
EA’s platform-specific disclosures distinguish commentary download requirements from interface-language selection. Apply the rule for the platform you use:

- The language is listed for a different feature. A language may support interface text or subtitles without offering full audio. Check the relevant column on Steam’s listing or the platform’s language information.
- Commentary content has not been installed. Follow EA’s download rule for your platform and client or console language, then check the Audio settings again.
- Your platform or edition may offer different language support. Availability can depend on storefront language data and may change; verify the listing for your specific platform and edition.
- You are looking for an interface control in the wrong place. Commentary and interface language are separate, and EA’s published material does not confirm one shared menu path across platforms.
Check the platform listing and required downloads before reinstalling the game or changing files. Unofficial patches or registry edits are not established as safe or necessary ways to add a language.
