On a phone, open Me > Customize > Body > Skin. These settings change avatar skin/body color, not the design or color of a shirt or pants item.
Change the whole avatar’s skin color on the website
- Sign in to Roblox and open Avatar.
- Hover over Head & Body, then select Skin Tone.
- Select the color you want. It applies to the whole avatar.

Set different colors for individual body parts
In the website editor, open Head & Body > Skin Tone, select Advanced, choose a body part, and then choose its color. This lets you color selected parts differently instead of applying one color across the avatar.
Change skin color in the mobile app
- Sign in to the Roblox app and open Me. If the name has not changed for your region, this tab may still say Avatar.
- Select Customize, then Body.
- Open Skin and choose a color.
Roblox documents this path in Mobile: Customizing Your Avatar. On a tablet, the support instructions say to go to More > Me; customization then works as it does on the website.

If you meant a shirt or pants color
Skin Tone and Skin change the avatar’s skin/body color; they do not recolor a garment’s design. The cited Roblox instructions explain how to choose, wear, or remove clothing items, but do not document an in-place clothing-recoloring control.
To wear a different garment, choose an item in the Avatar Editor or inventory. On the website, select a category and choose an item; to remove a worn item, select it in Recent or its category. In the mobile app, select the inventory item and set Wear This to Yes to wear it or No to remove it.

If the change does not appear
If the avatar preview does not show the change correctly, Roblox’s browser instructions suggest selecting Redraw beneath the avatar image.
