To change the email on your EA Account, sign in, open Account Information, and select Edit beside Email Address. Complete any identity checks EA presents, then follow the on-screen steps and check the new inbox for a verification message.
Change your email from EA Account Information
- Sign in to the EA Account you want to keep.
- Open the Account Information page.
- Find Email Address and select Edit.
- If EA requests identity verification, choose an available method, request the code, and enter it. The methods offered can depend on your account’s security checks.
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions. If EA sends a verification email, open it in the new mailbox and follow its instructions.
EA uses your email address for account verification and recovery. Choose an inbox you expect to keep, such as a personal address rather than one tied to school or work. See EA’s guidance about email access and account recovery.

EA’s 30-day email-change limit
EA Help says you can update your email address once every 30 days. EA also says you can switch back to an email address previously associated with the account without that restriction. These are EA’s stated account policies; whether the change proceeds may also depend on completing any security checks.
If you can’t access the old email or verify your account
First contact the email provider to see whether you can recover the old mailbox. If you can’t sign in to EA or use the verification methods offered, follow EA’s account-recovery guidance. EA’s help guidance does not promise that identity checks will be bypassed.

If the address you want is attached to a second EA Account you created by mistake, EA’s instructions describe changing the second account’s email to a temporary, distinct address first. Then change the email on the account you want to keep to your preferred address. Check that you are signed into the right account before making either change, and check the new inbox for EA’s verification email.
