Recheck the notice near the deadline: event dates, availability, rewards, and return schedules are not permanent.
Where to find the current event notice
Start with the official Lodestone News or Topics pages, rather than relying on an old event guide, a search-result snippet, or a previous announcement. Square Enix’s Lodestone News index lists current notices, including event schedules; the Topics index is another official route to event listings. Open the notice for the specific event you mean. If you are looking at a notice from a different region, do not assume its schedule applies to your account: use the official notice relevant to your region.

Open the announcement, then follow its event page
- Go to the official Lodestone News or Topics listing.
- Find the notice with the event’s name and open it. Check that it describes the current run, not an older rerun.
- Read the event period in the announcement, including the timezone attached to the start and end times.
- Follow the event special-site link in the notice. Use that page for participation requirements, reward details, quest steps, progress checks, and any replay instructions.
- If you have already begun the event, use the page’s named quest and Journal-category guidance to check your character’s progress.
The announcement and special site answer different questions. The notice is the place to verify the published schedule; the linked event page provides the event-specific instructions. A reward list from a past run is not proof that the same rewards, requirements, or progression rules apply to a later run.
How to read an event deadline correctly
A date without a time and timezone is not a complete deadline. Record the full end date, the exact time, and the timezone as written in the official notice. Do not treat “ends on Tuesday” as meaning the event lasts until your local midnight, or assume that a date displayed on a page is already adjusted to your timezone. If you need to convert the time, use a reliable time-zone converter and check that you selected the timezone printed in the announcement; the official schedule itself remains the reference.

Distinguish the event period from the time you need to finish
The published event period tells you when the event is scheduled to be available. It does not tell you how long your remaining quests will take, nor does it guarantee that every reward can be claimed after the period ends. If you have not started, check the eligibility and quest requirements before deciding whether you have enough time. If you have started, look at the event page’s progression instructions and leave a margin before the deadline rather than planning to finish at the last minute.
Also note whether the announcement describes a recurring or irregular event. A statement that an event may be held again does not supply a date for its next appearance. Do not delay a current run on the assumption that it will return on a particular schedule unless Square Enix has announced that schedule.
What the current examples show
The following dates and rewards are examples from official North American Lodestone notices and the linked event information checked on October 13, 2026. They illustrate how to read a notice; they are not a permanent calendar. Check the live regional notice before acting on either example.

How to confirm eligibility before you travel or start a quest
Open the event’s special site and find the participation requirements before you set out to begin. Requirements can be specific to an event and may include character level, job limitations, or completion of a main-scenario quest. Do not assume that being able to see an event notice means every character on your account can participate.
A Nocturne for Heroes 2026 requirements
The 2026 A Nocturne for Heroes event site says a character must be level 50, with limited jobs excluded, and must have completed the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon.” These are requirements for that event’s 2026 run, not a universal rule for every FINAL FANTASY XIV event. For another event, use its own special site rather than carrying these requirements over.
- Check the level requirement on the event page against the character you intend to use.
- Check any stated job exclusions; the A Nocturne for Heroes page excludes limited jobs.
- Check the named main-scenario prerequisite and confirm it is complete on that character.
- Read the rest of the event page for any additional participation instructions rather than treating these examples as a complete checklist for other events.
How to check whether you have already made progress
Returning players may not remember whether a character completed a past event quest. For A Nocturne for Heroes 2026, the official event site directs players to the Journal and gives the category path Complete → Other Quests → Special Quests. Use the quest names identified on that event page to check for the relevant progress. This guidance is specific to the cited event; another event may use different names or instructions.

- Note the quest names and the Journal category path supplied there.
- In-game, open the Journal and follow the stated category. For the 2026 A Nocturne for Heroes guidance, that is Complete → Other Quests → Special Quests.
- Compare the listed quest names and completion information with the event page’s instructions. Do not infer completion from owning a reward or remembering a previous run if the page provides a more precise check.
- If the Journal does not establish what you need to know, reread the event’s own instructions for the relevant quest sequence or progress condition.
How to find out which rewards are available and how to earn them
Use the reward section of the linked event page, together with its quest instructions. An announcement may showcase notable rewards without explaining every condition for obtaining each one. The special site is the place to check the event’s reward details and how they relate to participation or quest progression. Do not infer that an item is currently obtainable because it appeared in a previous run, or assume that every listed reward comes from the same activity.

What the A Nocturne for Heroes announcement highlights
The official North American announcement for the 2026 return highlights the Regalia Type-G four-seater mount, Lucian Prince costume set, Modern Aesthetics – Lucian Locks, orchestrion rolls, and more. Treat this as a list of items highlighted by that announcement, not as a complete account of every reward or of the precise steps needed to claim each item. Consult the linked event page for the event-specific details.
A practical reward check
- Find the complete reward information on the special site linked from the current announcement.
- For each reward you care about, identify the event page’s stated way to obtain it and any prerequisite or progress requirement.
- Check whether the page distinguishes rewards, quest completion, replay, or other event actions; do not assume that one action grants everything.
- If a page does not explain a detail you need, do not fill the gap with a previous event’s rules. Rely only on what the current official event materials establish.
Replay: what it does and what it does not do
The 2026 A Nocturne for Heroes event site describes a Seasonal Event Replay feature for eligible players to replay certain quests. Replay is not a way to earn the event rewards again: the site warns that replay does not grant rewards. It also warns that activating replay can affect access to quest-related purchases or exchanges until the listed quests are complete.
Read the replay instructions before activating
Before using replay, read the event-specific instructions and check which quests the page says must be completed. The cited event page warns that if the event ends before those quests are finished, the affected items may remain inaccessible until the event is held again. That makes replay a progression choice with a possible access consequence, not a harmless shortcut for collecting missed rewards.
- Confirm on the event site that the replay feature applies to the event and that your character is eligible.
- Read which quests are involved and what purchases or exchanges can be affected.
- Consider the time remaining in the announced event period and whether you can complete the listed quests before it ends.
- Activate replay only after understanding the event page’s instructions and the possibility that affected items may be unavailable until a future event run if the deadline arrives first.
These replay limitations are stated for the 2026 A Nocturne for Heroes event. Do not assume another event has the same feature or consequences; verify its own page.

How to compare two events without mixing up their rules
When deciding which event to do first, compare the details on each event’s current notice and special site. Keep the comparison tied to the actual character and rewards you care about; similar-looking collaborations or returning seasonal events can have different conditions.
| What to compare | What to record | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Schedule | Start date and time, end date and time, and the timezone printed in each notice | A date alone can conceal different cutoffs; a local-time assumption can lead to missing the published deadline. |
| Eligibility | Level, job restrictions, main-scenario prerequisites, and any other requirement stated on the event page | A character may qualify for one event and not another. |
| Rewards | The reward list and the event page’s stated method or progression for obtaining the items you want | A notice’s featured items or a past run’s rewards do not establish current acquisition steps. |
| Progress | Quest names, Journal category, and any returning-player check given by the event page | This helps distinguish unfinished event content from content already completed on that character. |
| Replay or later access | Whether replay exists, whether it grants rewards, what access it affects, and whether a return date is actually announced | Replay can have consequences, and an irregular future return is not a scheduled date. |
This comparison is useful when two events overlap, but it does not make their rules interchangeable. Record each event’s information from its own live official materials.

Using the wrong region’s announcement
Schedules can be presented for a particular region. The 2026 A Nocturne for Heroes schedule above is from the official North American announcement and is stated in PDT. If your region’s Lodestone notice differs, use the one relevant to your region rather than applying the North American time universally.
Ignoring the timezone
Do not stop at the weekday or calendar date. Keep the stated time and timezone beside the date when setting a reminder or planning your last session. If you convert it, preserve the original published time so you can verify that you selected the correct timezone.

- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Trusting an old event guide for a new run
A rerun may have a new period or changed event-specific information. Check the live announcement and its linked site, even if the event name is familiar. The old run is not a reliable source for the current deadline or reward availability.
Assuming an event will return on a known date
The Fall Guys notice says the collaboration will be held at irregular intervals after its October 2026 run. That wording signals possible future availability, not a promised next date. Unless a future schedule is announced, plan around the current published period.
Activating replay without checking its effects
For A Nocturne for Heroes 2026, replay can affect quest-related purchases or exchanges until specified quests are complete, and the event page warns that missing the deadline could extend that lack of access until the event is held again. Read the instructions before activating rather than treating replay as a reward-claim mechanism.
