Open the Epic Games Launcher and select Library.

Switch the Library to List View.

Find Fortnite and read the Time Played value in its row. Epic’s support instructions identify this column as the place to find the game’s recorded time.

Xbox
Use the Xbox console’s time-played view for Xbox-enabled games. The Xbox record is separate from Epic Games Launcher and PlayStation profile records.

Nintendo Switch
Check Nintendo’s play-time and usage activity tools. Nintendo’s Parental Controls app can show gameplay history and lets a guardian manage play-time limits. The activity shown is Nintendo’s platform record, not a combined Epic account total.
View a child’s Fortnite activity with Epic Time Reports
A parent or guardian can enable Time Reports for a child’s Epic account. Epic says the reports show total time spent in Fortnite and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), a daily breakdown, and up to four weeks of activity after the feature is enabled.

Enter the Parental Controls PIN.

Select Time Reports and enable reports for Fortnite.
See Epic’s instructions for setting up Time Reports. The dashboard’s history is limited to the period available after reports are turned on; it is not a lifetime total. If separate limits are configured, play time and create time may be shown separately.

What Fortnite’s playtime number includes
Each platform keeps its own activity record. The documented tools do not provide a universal lifetime counter that combines hours across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. Epic Time Reports serve a different purpose: they provide a guardian with weekly and daily child-account activity, with up to four weeks visible after activation.
