To reach the Mineshaft in Fisch, first get Merlin’s Veil from Merlin on Sunstone Island, then enter The Chasm and touch the purple layer beneath the water. The route requires access to Merlin’s services, which the fan-maintained wiki lists as available from Level 30.
Get Merlin’s Veil on Sunstone Island
-
Travel to Sunstone Island and find Merlin’s hut at X: -943, Y: 224, Z: -988. Go up the ladder, pass Rhea, then head left toward Merlin’s name tag. The Merlin page lists Level 30 as the threshold for making deals with him.
-
Speak with Merlin and choose “I need to enter The Chasm.” When prompted, confirm “I’m ready” to receive Merlin’s Veil, the effect needed to enter.
The wiki’s dialogue listing also notes that Merlin may respond, “Can’t do that for you,” if the player lacks the right materials, but it does not identify those materials. If the deal is refused, check the live dialogue and current game requirements rather than assuming a specific extra item is needed.
