How to Check Which PS Plus Games Are Included in Your Subscription Tier

To check whether a game is included with your PS Plus subscription, find it on PlayStation’s official games page and see whether it is listed as a monthly game, in the Game Catalog, the Classics Catalog, or among game trials. In the US, Essential includes monthly games, Extra adds the Game Catalog, and Premium adds the Classics Catalog and select trials. Catalogs change, so confirm the current listing before you play.

Check the current PS Plus games listing

1. Open PlayStation’s PS Plus games page.

2. Use the game-type filters to browse monthly games, the Game Catalog, Classics Catalog, or trials. Narrow the results by genre if useful.

3. Find the title and note which section lists it. A game appearing somewhere on the broad games page does not mean it is included with every tier.

4. Compare that section with your subscription tier using the table below. Check the listing again near the time you plan to play, especially if the game has a removal date.

Which PS Plus tier includes the game?

These tier details are for the US PlayStation pages; plan names and availability may differ by region. Sony also lists Ubisoft+ Classics with Extra on its US games page.

Monthly games and catalog games work differently. Monthly games are a selection members can add to their library; Sony says new monthly games are added each calendar month. Catalog access applies while a game remains in the service and you have the tier that includes it. Sony notes that some catalog games have an end date and will be removed.

2. Open Benefits, then select Game Catalog to browse catalog titles.

3. For monthly games, go to Games home screen > PlayStation Plus > Benefits > Monthly Games.

4. Choose a monthly title and select Download or Add to Library, as shown for that title.

1. From the function screen, select PlayStation Plus, then Game Catalog to browse catalog titles.

2. For monthly games, go to Function screen > PlayStation Plus > Monthly Games.

3. Select a monthly title and choose the available option to download or add it to your library.

For a catalog download, the account needs the tier that grants access to that catalog. PlayStation’s instructions are available in How to access PlayStation Plus games and its PS Plus game catalog guide for PS5 and PS4.

Check streaming and regional availability

Premium supports streaming for many Game Catalog and Classics Catalog titles, but whether a particular game can be streamed depends on the title and supported platform. Sony’s catalog guide states a 5 Mbps minimum broadband speed for streaming; confirm the game and device are supported before relying on streaming. The instructions and tier details here come from US PlayStation pages, so check your local PlayStation site for your region’s catalog and plan names.

When to check again

• Monthly games: The selection refreshes, and Sony says new games are added each calendar month.

• Catalog titles: Some Game Catalog and Classics Catalog games have removal dates. A past listing or screenshot cannot confirm current access.

• Tier changes: Before changing plans, confirm which catalog contains the game, whether it is still listed, and whether you intend to download it or stream it.
