1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor Battlefield 6 on Xbox console, you need a qualifying subscription for online multiplayer: the Xbox game listing names Game Pass Core or Ultimate, sold separately. On Windows PC, that console multiplayer requirement does not apply; PC Game Pass includes EA Play for PC, but EA Play membership alone does not confirm access to the full Battlefield 6 game. The right plan depends on your platform, whether you play online on console, and whether you want EA Play beyond Battlefield 6.
Which Game Pass plan do you need for Battlefield 6 on Xbox?
Xbox’s Battlefield 6 listing says: “Game requires online multiplayer subscription to play on console (Game Pass Core or Ultimate, sold separately).” The game is a separate purchase, so buying it does not also buy the required console multiplayer subscription. Check the Xbox Battlefield 6 listing for the current disclosure in your region.

The listing names Core and Ultimate, but Game Pass names and benefits can change and may not align across the game page and the live plan comparison. Before subscribing, compare the current local Xbox Game Pass plans and confirm that the tier shown for your region meets the game listing’s console multiplayer requirement.

Which plan fits your platform and use?
| Your situation | What to consider |
|---|---|
| Xbox console, playing Battlefield 6 online | Start with the qualifying multiplayer tier named on your local Xbox game listing. The US listing reviewed names Core or Ultimate; confirm current local plan naming and availability. |
| Windows PC only | PC Game Pass includes EA Play for PC through the EA app. The Xbox console multiplayer subscription rule does not establish a PC subscription requirement. |
| Xbox and PC, or broader EA Play access | Ultimate includes EA Play for Xbox and PC. Compare its current regional price and other benefits with what you will actually use. |
| Only interested in Battlefield 6 | Compare buying the game separately plus the locally qualifying console multiplayer plan, if you play on console, with the subscription options you would otherwise use. No current break-even price is established here. |
Does Game Pass include Battlefield 6?
Do not assume so. EA Play is included with Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but EA Play membership is not the same as full access to every EA game. EA’s information reviewed does not confirm that Battlefield 6 is in the EA Play Play List for full-game access. Check the live EA Play catalog and the specific Battlefield 6 offer before subscribing on the assumption that it unlocks the full game.

EA describes Battlefield 6-related EA Play benefits, such as rewards, and says selected new games may have trials. Neither statement establishes that a particular plan currently includes the complete game or a Battlefield 6 trial. EA Play Pro is a separate membership and is not included with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. See EA’s explanation of EA Play and Xbox Game Pass and the EA Play terms for current details.

EA lists Battlefield 6 for PC, including through the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games, and says the game requires a persistent internet connection and an EA Account. PC Game Pass provides EA Play for PC through the EA app, but that benefit should not be confused with confirmed full-game access. Check the specific store listing and EA Play catalog for the edition or offer you intend to use. EA’s Battlefield 6 purchase page has current platform and purchase information.

How to make the choice
- Identify where you will play. Separate Xbox console multiplayer from PC use; the console subscription disclosure is not a PC requirement.
- If playing online on console, check the game listing. Use the current local Xbox Battlefield 6 page to identify the qualifying multiplayer tier, then verify its name and availability on the regional Game Pass comparison page.
- Decide whether EA Play matters to you. Ultimate includes EA Play for Xbox and PC; PC Game Pass includes it for PC. Core and Standard do not include EA Play, according to EA.
- Verify Battlefield 6 access specifically. Look for the full game or a trial in the live EA Play catalog or an explicit current offer; do not infer access from EA Play inclusion alone.
- Compare the actual costs and benefits. If Battlefield 6 is your only goal, weigh separate game purchase and any needed console multiplayer subscription against the current subscription options. Prices and plan benefits vary and change.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
