Fortnitemares 2024 was a Chapter 5 Season 4 event, and its quests are no longer available to complete. This historical walkthrough records the Battle Royale, Horde Rush, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival objectives, plus the 11-stage XP reward track, so you can see what the event required and what it offered.

How the Fortnitemares 2024 quest system worked

Epic said Fortnitemares ran until the end of Chapter 5 Season 4, with quest sets unlocking over the course of the event. The XP quest track had 11 stages, with thresholds starting at 80,000 XP and increasing by 80,000 XP per stage through 880,000 XP. Those thresholds are listed in Dexerto’s historical archive, updated October 28, 2024. Horde Rush had its own sequential quest set, and XP earned in that mode also progressed the Fortnitemares XP quests. Epic’s v31.40 announcement describes the event and reward track; Dexerto’s archive lists the XP thresholds and objectives.

Where quests appeared in Fortnite

When event quests were available, the general interface route was to open the Fortnite lobby and select Quests. Epic Support notes that each Fortnite experience has different quests, so the relevant mode mattered. This menu guidance describes the usual workflow; it does not mean the Fortnitemares 2024 quest tab remains accessible. See Epic Games Support’s quest instructions.
