To link accounts for Rainbow Six Siege, sign in to your Ubisoft account, open Linked accounts, choose Link beside the platform account, and follow the prompts. Use the Ubisoft account that holds the Siege progress and purchases you want to access: linking the wrong account or changing a link later can affect access to content.
Link a platform account through Ubisoft Account Information
- Sign in to the Ubisoft Account Information page with the Ubisoft account you intend to use for Siege.
- Open Linked accounts.
- Find the platform account you want to connect and select Link.
- Follow the instructions in the popup to sign in to the platform account and finish linking.
Ubisoft also says you can link accounts by launching a Ubisoft game and signing in to Ubisoft Connect. Check the Ubisoft account shown during the process before confirming; a platform account already linked to a different Ubisoft account may produce an error. Ubisoft cautions that linking or unlinking external accounts can have a permanent impact on games and subscriptions. See Ubisoft’s account-linking instructions.

Link Steam and Ubisoft accounts
- Launch a Ubisoft game from Steam.
- When the Ubisoft Connect popup appears, select Continue.
- In the browser window, sign in to an existing Ubisoft account or create one.
- Select Link accounts and follow any remaining prompts.
Use the Ubisoft account you want associated with Steam and Siege. Ubisoft’s Steam-specific steps are in its Steam and Ubisoft account-linking guide.
What linking shares in Rainbow Six Siege
Siege cross-progression uses the same Ubisoft account across platforms. Ubisoft’s current content-sharing guidance says progress and some in-game content can be accessed across platforms, but not everything carries over. It lists:

For some content to be shared, Ubisoft says Siege must have been launched on both platforms. If something appears missing, Ubisoft advises checking that the game is installed correctly.
Linking accounts does not grant ownership of Siege on another platform. Ubisoft’s cross-progression support information says access applies on linked platforms where you own the game, so a separate purchase may be required.

If an account is already linked or you want to change it
If the platform account is connected to another Ubisoft account, Ubisoft may show an error. Its instructions say you can relink only the same platform account that was originally connected. If you need to connect a different platform account, contact Ubisoft Support rather than unlinking and guessing at a replacement.
Unlinking can remove access to content purchased from a platform store. To access that content on the Ubisoft account again, Ubisoft says to relink the same platform account. Review Ubisoft’s unlinking instructions before changing a connection.

About older cross-progression details
Ubisoft’s post dated 22 November 2022 described shared Renown and R6 Credits being combined across platforms, with packs, operators, cosmetics, boosters, and clearance level shared. It also said rank progress, rank history, and skill ratings were shared within console platforms and within PC platforms, while PC and console remained separate. These are dated synchronization details; for current content-sharing expectations, use Ubisoft’s current Siege support page above.
