Oracle’s Snapshot was a 14-stage story questline in Fortnite: Battle Royale Chapter 5, Season 2, and it is no longer available. The archived quest record lists it as available from March 12 through May 24, 2024, so players cannot start or finish it now. This historical walkthrough preserves the original stage order and objectives; its map locations and mechanics refer to the Season 2 map, not the current one.
How the Oracle’s Snapshot questline worked
The 14 stages had to be completed in sequence; they were not independent challenges. The archived quest record lists a historical reward of 10,000 XP for each stage, or 140,000 XP across all 14. The questline moved from trials and conversations with The Oracle to tasks involving Hades, Cerberus, Ares, and an Aspect of the Gods.

In the original season, you could select a quest in the missions menu and choose “Track Quest” to mark its location, according to a contemporaneous walkthrough. Epic’s general instructions for checking quests are to open the Quests tab in the lobby; that shows quests available in the selected Fortnite experience, not this expired Snapshot storyline: Epic Games Support: finding quests in Fortnite.
All 14 Oracle’s Snapshot stages, in order
- Use a Scrying Pool to speak with The Oracle. Interact with a pool and continue the conversation.
- Overcome the Test of Agility at Restored Reels. Start the course and pass through eight golden hoops within 60 seconds.
- Overcome the Test of Strength at Lavish Lair or Fencing Fields. Destroy 15 structures within 60 seconds.
- Overcome the Test of Wisdom at a Scrying Pool. Interact with a pool and answer the Oracle’s prompt: “Which food is most appealing to the gods?” Contemporary guides establish the question but do not provide a dependable answer choice, so the recorded evidence does not support naming one.
- Send Hades a message by eliminating opponents. Eliminate 10 opponents.
- Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Hades. Interact with a pool and continue the conversation.
- Collect a Gatekeeper Shotgun then visit Grim Gate. Both collecting the in-game weapon and visiting the named location were part of the objective.
- Damage Cerberus to assert your dominance. Deal 150 damage to Cerberus.
- Defeat a Character in a duel or eliminate a god. Either route satisfies the listed objective.
- Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Ares. Interact with a pool and continue the conversation.
- Collect a Warforged Assault Rifle then visit Pantheon Path. Both collecting the in-game weapon and visiting the named location were part of the objective.
- Damage Ares to bring war to the gods. Deal 150 damage to Ares.
- Assist in collecting an Aspect of the Gods. The archived objective does not specify which boss or the exact assistance mechanic.
- Use a Scrying Pool to speak with The Oracle. This is the final stage.
Season 2 Scrying Pool locations
A season-specific walkthrough listed four Scrying Pools on the Chapter 5, Season 2 map: near Zeus’s throne room at Mount Olympus; north of the water bed at Reclaimed Villa; south of Estate Station; and in the far west of The Underworld. These are historical map references and should not be used as directions for the current Fortnite map.

What the archived record confirms
The archived quest list attributes the line “Prophecy’s an art, not a science.” to The Oracle. It records 14 stages, 10,000 XP per stage, and the March 12–May 24, 2024 availability window. The timed trial details—eight hoops in 60 seconds and 15 structures in 60 seconds—and the Wisdom prompt come from contemporaneous Season 2 guides. The questline ended on May 24, 2024.
