The final hand-in step is disputed: check your quest tracker after extraction and speak to the Nomadic Envoy if it still lists an objective.
Find the Nomad Camp beneath the Railyard
- Travel to the Railyard on Pendola Pass.
- Look for the pipe entrance between the Railyard and the Transit Tunnel to its west. Enter the underground Nomad Camp.
- Climb to the elevated middle section of the camp walkway and find the highlighted yellow bag.
This route is described in PC Gamer’s Clean Hands walkthrough; GamesRadar’s guide also places the camp below the Railyard.
Search the bag for the Equatorial Sundial
Interact with the yellow bag to search it and obtain the Equatorial Sundial. Put the sundial in a safe pocket if your augment has one, so it is less exposed to the risk of losing carried loot before extraction. The safe pocket is a precaution, not a quest prerequisite.
Display the sundial in the Old Town church tower
- Go to the church near the center of Old Town.
- Climb the spiral stairs at the back of the church.
- Use the zipline to reach the tower.
- At the top, interact with the railing to hold up the Equatorial Sundial.
The church, stairs, zipline, and railing interaction are covered by both PC Gamer and GamesRadar.

Extract with the sundial, then check for a hand-in
Keep the Equatorial Sundial and extract from Pendola Pass. PC Gamer’s walkthrough says that for the gondola extraction, you need to activate the console and then travel to the gondola’s drop-off location.
Guides differ on what happens after extraction. PC Gamer and GamesRadar present extraction with the sundial as the final step, while Destructoid’s guide includes delivery to the Nomadic Envoy as a further objective. The available sources do not establish whether that hand-in is always required. Once back, follow the in-game quest tracker; if it still requests delivery, interact with the Nomadic Envoy.

Preparation and listed rewards
A safe-pocket augment can help protect the sundial during the run. Healing supplies and a weapon are sensible general survival choices for a dangerous map, but are not stated quest requirements. GameSpot’s guide, published 8 October 2026, recommends a safe-pocket augment and suggests heals and a weapon; it does not establish a specific required loadout.
The community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki entry for Clean Hands lists one Sextant, one Shield Recharger, and one Battered Paperback as rewards. Treat that list as community-reported rather than an official reward confirmation.
