What happened to the Hellfire Gala: Moments event?
Marvel Rivals’ limited-time Hellfire Gala: Moments event began on May 2, 2025, at 09:00 UTC. The official patch notes announced the event and its free Wolverine – Patch costume reward; an IGN trailer description also corroborated the launch date and reward. The event is over as of October 8, 2026.

Available records disagree about the closing date: a contemporaneous walkthrough gives May 23, while later records connect the event with the May 30 transition. Neither date is sufficiently established to treat as definitive. This guide explains the completion route for players consulting the event record or in case of a confirmed return.

- Act 1: Explore Krakoa. Start the event and complete the missions shown for this act.
- Act 2: Hellfire Gifts / Hellfire Trading Company. Work through the event mission phases, earn X-Coins, and use the gift mechanic. Keep progressing through the mission list even if the gift display reaches its target.
- Act 3: Gala Star Vote. Once the act unlocks, use earned X-Coins to obtain voting tokens and cast the votes required by the event interface. The walkthrough records a vote tracker displaying 10/10.
Completing all Hellfire Gala missions was the route to the free Wolverine – Patch costume, according to the official patch notes. The exact exchange costs for tokens are not established here; if the event returns, follow the costs shown in its live interface.
Why might Act 3 stay locked after the gifts counter is full?
The visible gift counter and Act 2 mission completion are separate progress checks. An independent Escapist guide notes that all Act 2 mission phases must be completed to unlock Act 3. A counter such as 4/4 therefore does not, by itself, confirm that the act’s mission list is finished.

- Open the event’s mission panel and review every Act 2 phase.
- Complete the objectives displayed for each phase. The available sources do not establish a complete, verifiable list of every original objective, so use the in-game text rather than an unverified checklist.
- If the next phase is not available yet, check again after the next daily refresh. A recorded walkthrough says mission phases refreshed at 09:00 UTC during the event.
- When all Act 2 phases are complete, return to the event screen and enter Act 3.
- Use X-Coins as the interface requires to obtain voting tokens, then cast the required votes. The walkthrough shows a 10/10 vote tracker.
Those timings and tracker labels are observations from the event’s 2025 walkthrough, not confirmation of how a future rerun would work. Follow the mission panel and event UI if the event returns.

The sources establish completion of all event missions as the earning route, but do not provide a fully verified inventory of every intermediate reward; check the event’s reward display for those details if it returns.
