How to approach the scenario
Parks and Restoration is a Career scenario in Planet Coaster 2. Its objectives combine park development with repairing damaged coasters. Work from the objective panel rather than relying on an older walkthrough: Update 9 notes report changes to ride and shop counts, and the available sources do not confirm that every label is identical across platforms.
- Read the active medal objectives and note the exact counts and conditions currently shown.
- Build the required guest facilities, hire the required staff, and open the initial flat rides.
- Repair each coaster called for by the objectives, then test and open it.
- As later objectives appear, add rides, complete the custom coaster, and satisfy the park-wide targets.
Repair and open the damaged coasters
For each coaster, check the objective panel and ride status, then make sure the track is complete, the ride has power, it passes a test, and it is open. The walkthrough describes the following workflow for Gomkuva; other damaged rides use the same basic checks, though track completion may require more manual work.
- Complete the track. Use the coaster edit controls to connect broken track ends. Autocomplete may help where it is available; some sections may need track placed manually first.
- Smooth joined sections if needed. Newly connected track may need smoothing.
- Connect power. Route power from a nearby power distributor and confirm the ride receives it.
- Test the coaster. Run a test after the track and power are in place.
- Open the ride. Once the ride is ready, open it and check the objective panel for completion.
For Vereenti Donc and Drewst Roda, the walkthrough likewise advises checking power, completing the track, testing, and opening the attraction. Update 9 notes specifically report an adjustment intended to make Drewst Roda easier to finish building.

Keep paths and guest circulation working
As the park expands, crowded or narrow paths can obstruct guest movement. If guests are bottlenecking, widen the affected paths and check whether the change improves circulation before building more attractions into the same area.
Complete the Retail Ravers advertising objective
Retail Ravers is an advertising-campaign objective tied to guest facilities. The walkthrough says the campaign asks for food, drink, and gift facilities grouped in one building, but Update 9 notes report a reduction in the required food-shop count. Do not assume an older guide’s exact shop total is still correct.

- Select or inspect the Retail Ravers campaign and read its live facility requirements.
- Build or assign the requested facilities together in one building, following the campaign’s current wording.
- Check the campaign panel again to confirm it is running and the objective has registered.
What changes by medal tier
Update 9 notes report changes to requirements that differ from an older community walkthrough. The counts below are the changes reported in the Update 9 notes, not a guarantee of what a particular current save or platform will display.

The older walkthrough gives different flat-ride counts for Silver and Gold (3 and 5, respectively). Because the accounts conflict, treat your in-game objective panel as authoritative and do not combine the lists.

Check the reported Platinum targets in-game
The Beef Suplex Gaming Wiki walkthrough describes Platinum as including completion of Glenk Rakkota, a guest-mood target, daily income, and park rating. It reports the following thresholds, but these figures have not been independently confirmed against current in-game objectives. Verify each one in your scenario panel before planning around it.
- At least 858 meters of track for Glenk Rakkota.
- At least 70% of guests in a good mood, with at least 3,000 guests present.
- Daily income greater than $200,000.
- A park rating of 4.5 stars.
