Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →To escape Murder Mine, open the mine by solving the power-room switch puzzle, restore the elevator, then work through the mine’s gates, bridge and spider section before breaking through the rocky exit and boarding the train. The route below follows a third-party walkthrough published July 21, 2023; it has not been verified against the current live game, so item locations or mechanics may have changed. Walkthrough (July 21, 2023)
Open the mine entrance
Find the lockpick and enter the power room
Look for a lockpick in the showers or cafeteria; the walkthrough says it can spawn in multiple places and is marked by a small sparkle. Take it to the power-room door and use it on the padlock. Walkthrough (July 21, 2023)
Cross the spike pit and solve the switch box
Use the wooden boards to cross the spike pit. The walkthrough recommends testing a board by stepping forward and backing away: unsafe boards fall. If you fall, it reports that you respawn at the entrance rather than restarting the whole game. At the switch box, press the switches in this order: right, left, right, right, left. A green light at the top signals success. Walkthrough (July 21, 2023)
Restore the mine elevator
- Go to the garage and press the red button to open its door.
- Reach the mine elevator and climb to the upper level.
- Remove the metal caught in the gears.
- Return to the elevator and descend into the mine.
These steps follow the July 2023 walkthrough and may differ if the experience has since changed. Walkthrough (July 21, 2023)
