To complete Fortnite’s “Someone is planning a joyride” Found Quest, find Cassidy Quinn at Lonewolf Lair, choose “Steal Kane’s Car,” get into Fletcher Kane’s car, and drive through all 10 waypoints in order. This is guidance for Chapter 6 Season 2: Epic says that season ended May 2, 2025, so check in-game to see whether the quest is still available.
How to complete the joyride quest
- Go to Lonewolf Lair. Look around the mansion entrance area for Cassidy Quinn. Walkthroughs place her near the gatehouse on the driveway southwest of the mansion, or by the fountain and small building outside it. GamesRadar+ and Destructoid describe nearby landmarks differently, so search around the entrance if she is not immediately visible.
- Talk to Cassidy Quinn. Select the “Steal Kane’s Car” interaction. Cassidy will head toward the garage.
- Get into Fletcher Kane’s car. Cassidy opens the gate to the caged car. Enter it and take the driver’s seat to start the getaway.
- Pass through all 10 waypoints. The checkpoints appear one after another, so drive through each visible marker before following the next. The route broadly leaves Lonewolf Lair, runs along roads and a dirt track, and includes a cliff jump over a river. Guides describe the endpoint as near a waterfall below Magic Mosses; use the in-game markers to navigate the exact route.
Is the quest still available?
The quest is associated with Chapter 6 Season 2, the LAWLESS season. Epic’s season announcement identifies Cassidy Quinn and Lonewolf Lair and gives the season end date as May 2, 2025 Eastern Time. The available walkthroughs cover that season; they do not establish whether this Found Quest can still be triggered in Fortnite now. If you cannot find Cassidy or the interaction, the quest may no longer be available in your current game.
