To complete Straight Record, find the old EMP trap in Victory Ridge on Dam Battlegrounds, interact with it, activate the three nearby switch objectives, then return to the trap and interact with it again. You do not need to extract to finish the quest, according to GameSpot and Shacknews.
Start Straight Record
Straight Record is a quest for Celeste in her quest chain. It becomes available after Broken Monument, takes place on Dam Battlegrounds, and is followed by Keeping The Memory, according to the ARC Raiders Wiki.

The objective sequence is to reach Victory Ridge, locate the old EMP trap, interact with three power switches, and shut down the trap. The quest sources describe the switches’ electrical state differently, so follow the interaction prompts rather than relying on whether a guide calls them on or off. See the GameSpot guide and Shacknews guide.

Find and activate the EMP trap
Look in Victory Ridge in the northwestern part of Dam Battlegrounds, slightly southwest of West Broken Ridge. Shacknews places the area east of Power Generation Complex, between West Broken Bridge and Ruby Residence. Use these landmarks to orient yourself; they are not exact coordinates. The trap is a tall, narrow machine wrapped in wires.

- ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the following content: The Wanderer Set, including the following cosmetic items: “Valente” Outfit" “Pathfinder” Backpack,“Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment.
- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
Interact with the EMP trap first. That reveals the switch objectives and gives you the nearby machine as your reference point for the route.
Reach the three switches
- North of the trap: Find the switch on a small cliff or ridge. Walk around the outside of the cliff to reach it.
- East of the trap: Look on the upper level of a collapsed structure. Climb the debris to reach the second floor and interact with the switch.
- South of the trap: Find the switch near a tree. Shacknews recommends following the power cable away from the clearing.
GameSpot describes turning on the switches before activating the trap, while the quest listing and Shacknews describe disabling or turning them off. Use the prompts shown in your game as you interact with each one.

Return to the trap and finish the quest
After interacting with all three switches, go back to the EMP trap and interact with it again. That completes the objective. The quest sources report that extraction is not required: you can finish the quest without leaving the raid, and Shacknews says you can still report back to Celeste if another Raider takes you out and you return to Speranza.

Quest rewards
The ARC Raiders Wiki lists five Medium Gun Parts and three Advanced Mechanical Components as the quest rewards. It separately lists Binoculars and a Defibrillator under “Granted,” so those are distinct from the listed rewards. These details come from a community-maintained page last modified July 11, 2026, rather than official Embark documentation.

What Celeste says about the trap
The wiki attributes this line to Celeste’s quest acceptance dialogue: “Head out there and kill the power, pull the plug—do whatever it takes to shut it down. That trap was built to keep us safe, not for us to use against each other.”
