Shoot its central pedestal with a Shock Arrow to reveal Keeha Yoog Shrine.
How do you start the Cliffside Etchings shrine quest?
Find Geggle on the cliff above and behind Tabantha Bridge Stable during the day and speak with him. He points out a distant carving and gives you the clue that leads to the quest. You do not have to formally start the quest for the shrine to appear, but talking to Geggle provides the intended hint. Zelda Dungeon Wiki records the quest hint and solution.
Where is the Cliffside Etchings shrine?
The etching is on a cliff in the Gerudo Summit area, around the stretch between the map labels “Gerudo Summit” and “Cliffs of Ruvara.” Use those labels as landmarks while travelling toward the mural. Gamer Guides’ walkthrough gives the halfway-between-the-labels cue.
How do you reach and activate the etching?
- Approach from the gradual slope at Cliffs of Ruvara and climb toward the lightning-shaped carving.
- Near the etching, use the wind updraft and paraglider to rise into a position with a clear view of its center.
- Equip a bow and shoot a Shock Arrow at the pedestal in the middle of the lightning image. The updraft can help with the shot; a bow with longer range is a useful convenience if you are having trouble hitting the target, not a stated requirement.
Hitting the center reveals Keeha Yoog Shrine beneath the mural. The solution is also corroborated by Zelda Dungeon Wiki and Gamer Guides.
