How to Complete the Granum Void in Warframe: Crowns, Ranks, and Rewards

To complete the Granum Void, finish The Deadlock Protocol, use a Granum Crown at a Golden Hand Tribute in a Corpus Ship mission, then earn the Rank you want before the timer runs out. The three thresholds are 25, 50, and 75 kills; rewards from lower Ranks stack up to the highest Rank you reach. Kill Errant Specters to collect time-extending Particles, or use the Xoris to free Solaris captives for a larger time bonus.

What you need before entering

• Complete The Deadlock Protocol. Treasurers do not drop Granum Crowns until the quest is complete, and quest completion is also listed as an entry requirement in the official Update 28: The Deadlock Protocol notes.
• Play a Corpus Ship mission and find a Golden Hand Tribute, also called a Golden Hand Shrine in the official hotfix notes.
• Bring the Xoris if you want to free Solaris captives inside the Void. The Xoris is required for that action, but not for entering or earning kills.

How to get Granum Crowns

In the official Update 28 rules, the mission level determines which Crown a Treasurer carries. A Treasurer appears during the mission; kill it before it escapes to collect the Crown. The update notes say Treasurers are guaranteed to spawn within 2–4 minutes in non-endless missions and 5–8 minutes in endless missions. These are the historical Update 28 timings, not a guarantee that later game updates have left every detail unchanged.

The three tiers have different enemy levels and reward tables. These level bands and tier names come from the launch-era official notes; check the current in-game mission and reward information if exact present-day tuning matters.

How to enter the Granum Void

1. Start a Corpus Ship mission with the Crown tier you want to spend.
2. Find a Golden Hand Tribute. When the Void opens, an official hotfix says a waypoint to the nearest Golden Hand Shrine appears.
3. Interact with the Tribute and spend the appropriate Crown. One Crown opens the activity for the whole squad, and the squad can enter the Granum Void once per mission.
4. Enter before the portal closes. The activity is timed, so be ready to fight as soon as you arrive.

How to earn Rank 1, 2, or 3

Kill Errant Specters and collect the Particles they drop to extend your time. The Rank thresholds in the official Update 28.0.5 notes are:

Rewards stack: reaching Rank 3 also grants the rewards for Ranks 1 and 2. The official notes say the Void closes once players reach the Rank 3 requirement, so there is no need to keep killing after hitting 75.

Use the Xoris to extend the run

With the Xoris, free Solaris captives to gain 20 seconds in the Granum Void. This is a larger extension than the 5 seconds gained by collecting a Specter Particle, and rescuing captives also awards Solaris Standing. The Standing per captive depends on the Crown tier: 100 for a Granum Crown, 200 for an Exemplar Granum Crown, and 300 for a Zenith Granum Crown, according to the official Update 28.0.5 notes.

What rewards can the Granum Void give?

The official launch update lists these reward categories: Protea parts; parts for Stropha, Stahlta, and Velox; Granum Crown decorations; the Mortuus Shoulder Guard; Corpus Ship Captura scenes; Credit Caches; Void Traces; and Endo. The launch notes identify categories, not drop probabilities, so exact odds are not stated here.

Granum Crowns also have a separate use: spend one at a Corpus Temple Relief to reveal lore about the Founder and potentially earn an Orbiter decoration. This is separate from spending a Crown at a Tribute to enter the Void.

Can the Granum Void summon a Sister Candidate?

In the Sisters of Parvos update, spending a Zenith Granum Crown at a Golden Hand Tribute and reaching at least Rank 1 could summon a Sister Candidate, subject to that update’s progression context. This is separate from earning the Void’s Rank rewards. Candidate eligibility depends on the player’s current quest and Sister/Lich progression, so check the current in-game requirements rather than assuming the trigger is available to every account. See the official Sisters of Parvos Update 30.5 notes.

If you no longer have the Xoris

If you accidentally sold the Xoris, the official Deadlock Protocol hotfix notes say its blueprint and parts can be obtained from Simaris after completing The Deadlock Protocol. That provides an in-game recovery route for captive rescues; it does not change the Crowns or entry requirements.
