The ring is hidden inside the one-eyed teddy bear in the Amusement Arcade claw machine. To reach it, you’ll need to restore Mall power, retrieve the Box Cutter from the Dojo, and collect Coins from the taped payphone in the Town.
Before you start: restore power in the Mall
The claw machine needs power. Follow the Mall route through the door marked with a danger sign to reach the room with the power panel, as described in the Mall walkthrough. The walkthrough sources cited below are secondary guides; this route is supported by their descriptions, but later game updates were not checked.

Get the Box Cutter and arcade Coins
Open the Pharmacy mini-fridge
- Inspect the back of the Instant Photo clue.
- Set the mini-fridge colors from left to right to Blue (A), Yellow (B), Red (C).
- Take the Dojo Key and First Aid Kit from the fridge.
Take the Box Cutter from the Dojo
Use the Dojo Key to enter the Dojo on the Mall’s upper floor. The Box Cutter is in the washroom at the back.
Get Coins from the taped payphone
Return to the Commercial District and use the Box Cutter on the tape covering the ringing Town payphone. After the call, collect the Coins from the phone’s coin slot. You will use the Box Cutter again to open the teddy bear.

Win the one-eyed teddy bear
Return to the Amusement Arcade and use the Coins on the powered claw machine. The Letter to Zacarias identifies the one-eyed teddy bear as the target; the detailed route places it at the far right in the middle. Use the machine’s arrows to position the claw, then press the red button. The walkthroughs do not report an alternative solution or target.

- Examine the teddy bear in your inventory.
- Use the Box Cutter on its stomach and take the Gold Ring inside.
- Go to Zacarias on the Mall Lower Floor and inspect him.
- Use the Gold Ring on his left hand.
Zacarias disappears when the curse is lifted, opening the door behind him to the Backstreets. That route leads onward toward the Processing Plant.
