To complete Palia’s Elderwood Paying Respects accomplishment, bring an offering to each of the 15 Umbraan Shrines. Visit them in any order; completing the last one triggers the accomplishment and awards 30 Renown and a Finishing Runestone.
What you need to do
- Travel to Elderwood and find the Umbraan Shrines.
- Bring an offering to each of the 15 shrines. The available walkthrough does not identify the offering item or explain how to obtain it, so confirm the requirement in your current game before spending resources.
- Complete the shrines in any order. Once you finish the final shrine, the accomplishment should trigger.
The completion message reads: “You’ve completed all 15 Umbraan Shrines in the Elderwood!”
Rewards
Completing the accomplishment grants 30 Renown and a Finishing Runestone.
Keep this separate from the Kilima puzzle
Palia has a separate secret puzzle also called Paying Respects. It involves shrines around the outskirts of the Remembrance Garden in Kilima Valley and has different rewards. For this accomplishment, the defining objective is completing all 15 Umbraan Shrines in Elderwood.

What is not confirmed about the offerings or locations
The available walkthrough establishes that each Umbraan Shrine needs an offering, but it does not specify the exact item, how many to carry, where to get it, or the coordinates and route for all 15 shrines. A player discussion asks whether five Sacred Flowers must be purchased from Tamala, but that question alone does not confirm either the item requirement or the purchase method. Avoid spending precious resources on that assumption without checking the current in-game requirement.
The Official Palia Wiki walkthrough and accomplishment index reported Build 0.206 and Build 0.207 in their search-result headers; a game-data reference lists Steam build 24808211. These labels can change with updates, so details may differ in later builds.
