Go to ZyngaGames.com, choose Log In, then select Connect with Facebook and sign in with the Facebook account previously linked to your farm.
How to connect FarmVille 2 to Facebook
- Open ZyngaGames.com and select Log In.
- Choose Connect with Facebook.
- Sign in to the same Facebook account you used for your FarmVille 2 farm. Zynga says this route should return you to that farm and carry over its progress.
Zynga’s FarmVille 2 support page, updated shortly before October 8, 2026, says the game is no longer playable directly on Facebook and directs players to ZyngaGames.com. Facebook remains a sign-in option for recovering the linked farm; it is not a way to launch the game within Facebook. Zynga Player Support: “Why am I unable to play on Facebook?”
Which login route should you use?

Zynga’s guide distinguishes recovery from new-user registration: creating a new account opens a Level 1 farm, rather than restoring your existing progress. Choose a recovery login instead of signing up for a new account. Zynga Player Support: “The all new & improved ZyngaGames.com!”
If Facebook login does not restore your farm
Try the email associated with your Zynga account
- At ZyngaGames.com, select Sign in with Email.
- Enter the email address registered to your Zynga account.
- If you do not know the password, select Forgot Password and follow the reset instructions.
Check the Facebook account
Make sure you signed in with the same Facebook account that was connected to the old farm. A different Facebook identity may not retrieve that farm.

Contact Zynga Support
If neither login method works, use Contact Us on Zynga Support. Include at least two details that can help identify the account: its associated email address, Player ID, Farm Name, Player Name, or the last payment receipt or amount. Zynga may also ask for your Social Network UID; its guide explains how to find a game’s app-scoped UID in Facebook’s Apps and Websites settings on mobile or desktop. Zynga Player Support: “What is my Social Network UID and how do I find it?”
Can you still play FarmVille 2 inside Facebook?
No. Zynga’s game-specific instructions say direct play on Facebook is no longer available. A broader Zynga notice says Facebook Web Games (Canvas) were scheduled to sunset on September 30, 2026, but the FarmVille 2-specific route for continuing the game is ZyngaGames.com. Is the FarmVille 2 desktop app required?
No. Zynga describes its Windows and macOS desktop app as a beta option for players having browser loading or login problems, not a required step to reconnect Facebook. The installation guide says to log in after installation with Facebook or email and password. Zynga Player Support: “How do I install the FarmVille 2 Desktop App Beta for Windows & Mac OS?”
