Check the pump’s displayed radius afterward to see what it covers.
Connect the pump and filter
- Open Facilities, then choose the Utilities tab.
- Place a Water Pump and a Water Filter.
- Select the Water Pipe tool in Utilities.
- Use the pipe tool to connect the pump to the filter, following the in-game prompts.
- Check the pump’s displayed radius to see what area is covered.
The menu path and tool names are documented in this pool-building guide. Frontier says pools need a pump and filter, and that filtration improves the cleanliness of pool and slide water (Frontier’s November 6, 2024 guidance).
If the pipe will not connect
Re-select Water Pipe in Utilities and try connecting the pump to the filter again, following the prompts shown in your game. The available guidance does not establish a guaranteed fix for a failed connection or specify platform-specific controls, so avoid relying on a particular button sequence.
A player described the connecting lines not turning blue in a Steam discussion. That is one report, not evidence that the problem is widespread or that a specific remedy works.
