To connect Gmail to a Supercell game, open the game, go to Settings > Supercell ID, and follow the sign-up or login prompts with your Gmail address. Supercell sends a one-time verification code to that inbox; Supercell ID does not use a password. If you mean changing the Google account used by a game on Android, that is a separate Google Play Games setting.
Set up Supercell ID with Gmail
- Open the Supercell game you want to save.
- Go to Settings > Supercell ID and choose the sign-up or setup option.
- Enter your Gmail address, then retrieve the verification code sent to that inbox and enter it in the game.
Supercell says setting up a Supercell ID is free. Gmail is the email address that receives the verification code; Supercell ID is the service that links your game account. Supercell does not support every email domain, and its setup guidance does not provide a complete list of eligible domains. If the address is rejected, try another supported email address. Log in to an existing Supercell ID or use it in another game
If you already have a Supercell ID, choose the login option in the game and enter the email address already associated with that ID. Use the same ID email when logging in to another Supercell game. If you enter a different Gmail address, you may not reach the game account you intended to access. Supercell’s Supercell ID guide
Switch the Google account used on Android
Google Play Games sign-in and Supercell ID are separate. If the issue is that the wrong Google account is selected for a game, change the account in Google Play Games settings or in Android device Settings by searching for Play Games. Change the email on an existing Supercell ID
- Open the game account associated with the Supercell ID.
- Go to Settings > Supercell ID, then tap the settings cogwheel.
- Choose Change Email and follow the confirmation prompts. For the ordinary self-service process, you need access to the current email address to enter the code sent there.
- Enter the replacement address. It must not already be connected to a Supercell ID.
Supercell may disable email changes for accounts it considers unsecured. If the option is unavailable, do not try an unofficial workaround; contact support from inside the game. Supercell’s email-change guidance

Start a support conversation in the game at Settings > Help and Support. If Account Protection is enabled, SMS verification or recovery codes may help with recovery or an email change. Keep your verification codes and email secure
- Never share a Supercell ID login code with another person, including someone claiming to be support. Provide codes only in a support conversation you started through the game’s Help and Support section. Supercell’s account-safety guidance
- Enable two-factor authentication on the email account you use for Supercell ID. Supercell’s guidance for keeping Supercell ID safe
